  • This is an excellent video! Thank you for posting :)

  • @ashlis314 God's Law FOR salvation is legalism.

I'm not teaching Law FOR Salvation though and neither was Paul or Jesus.

You can *SAY* I am all day long, but that's a false accusation, because you lack understanding.

There are other issues than just salvation.

You are still on the milk of salvation when you should be on the meat.

Salvation is a gift. We cannot help to SAVE ourselves.

We obey God NOT for our own justification but because we love & trust him because he loves us.

  • @MerozCurse Amen, "but we still need Jesus’ Forgiveness everyday".

Agreed 100%. We obey God, not for our own justification, but because we trust him, love him and know doing his will is in our own best interests ultimately because he loves us.

  • thank god we all have the same heavenly father but these scriptures where taken way out of context what about rahab her faith did not produce works for at least 40 more years the reason of the law knowledge of sin we are not perfect god never reedemed us from sinful actions but from the imputations of condemnation guilt and punishment for sinful actions we will be made perfect in our new bodies at the rapture scripture is very clear you can not mix law and grace nor put new wine in old wineskin

  • @100skeegy (1)

I'm not sure where to start here. So you believe that scriptures "where taken way out of context"...can you address one? There are 47 to choose from.

Mark 2:22 - "new wine in old wineskin". You must take every scripture in context. Here, the Pharisees accuse Jesus and his disciples for not fasting to the extremes that they took. The Pharisees fasted twice a week, and the disciples of John were much more hardcore than the "new Christians" following Jesus.

    (continued)...

  • @skeegy (2)

These new disciples of Jesus were not used to the "meat of the Word" but were new to the "milk" of salvation. To impose them fasting days when they were so new to following Christ, it would be like trying to put a piece of new cloth on an old garment, or putting new wine in old wineskins. "Weaker" Christians may try to "over hinder" themselves by taking on more than they can bear.

Law mixes with Grace, in fact, it is because of Grace that I uphold God's Holy Law.

    God bless you.

  • @reapwhatyousow74 This goes without saying the traditions of men (Pharisees) ADD to the LAW and the doctrines of men (Modern Christianity) DIMINISH from it.

Jesus upheld the LAW, fulfilled it, and implemented it fully. He saved me thru GRACE, and that is why I choose to obey Him.

"We ought to obey God rather than men" - Acts 5:29

  • @reapwhatyousow74 Amen brother. You did an awesome job making this awesome video of God's awesome words.

God's Grace is so important unto salvation and God's law is so important for a different reason, how we are to live our lives day to day.

We trust everything God has said to us in the Scripture.

Grace brings Salvation and this is the milk.

The meat is the rest of the message we'll spend learning forever!

God bless you reapwhatyousow74 for all you do in Christ :)

  • I have a booklet on my website which is free to download, called "Why God Forgives," and it explains how we are to keep the law according to the gospel of Jesus Christ, not because we are under its authority (we are now under the authority of Christ) but because the law within the New Covenant (with its changes under a new priesthood) is freedom from sin. I too have been unable to find a church that teaches this truth, so I welcome any communication through my website. candlecrossministry.co.uk

  • Thank you as I read Yahushua's WORD amazing miracles happened as I obeyed, joy, and peace came when I made a choice to obey the law not because I had to, because I love JESUS (YAHUSHUA) I received the most beautiful precious friend, HIS love strengthens, protects me, never left me :)

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Thank you VUDUMOJO for WORDS OF TRUTH!

Isaiah 62:3 3Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

  • @osmentmusso Amen and thank you for sharing those great Scriptures.

    God bless

  • Hi, I am a Bible believing follower of Jesus. I have just begun to come out of the haze of the modern church and have come to the conclusion that I should worship on the sabbath and keep the Law of God. But how do we begin, how do I change all this for myself and my family? My whole family is struggling as I begin the process.

  • @funkidelicFrank If you're looking for a "Church organization" to attend, you probably will find nothing where you live that is anywhere near what the Bible really says.

Secondly, careful where you step! It is GREAT that you have discovered that the whole Bible is true and does not contradict itself and we should live by "every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God" as Jesus said, not just some of it.

HOWEVER some of the Law has been fulfilled past tense by Jesus and some has not. I'll PM

  • Well done...I keep the law because I am saved, not to get saved...simply put.

Jesus did the part I couldn't do... He saved me.

  • @AntichristComes Amen!

  • I invite everyone to watch my response to this video entitled: Is the Law the believer's rule of life?
