Yes, cut the taxes but give the people a check!!! $36,000 / $72,000 / $108,000 / $144,000 . This is Capital reimbursement for any tax payer who has been a worker for 10 yrs then double it if they were also in military service then 3X if they were also students then 4X if they are over 55 yrs of age. The states when then tax the check through Income tax. California would definately benefit through this federal payout to taxpayers!!!!

$19,000! Some would payoff credit cards so the credit companies could recover their debt and start barrowing again. Military personnel would be included because I think they also pay payroll taxes. $90 extra for the lowest ranking military personnel and then ranging to $900 to the highest ranking personnel.

If the amount reaches above $19,000 keep the rest for a future project. If anyone owes money to the IRS they would be afraid to file for a rebate. Therefore, be more direct and find out who has been paying payroll taxes. Just give the money to the people. Many are no longer in the unemployment line!!!! Many are Temps! Therefore, find a way to find out who has been payroll taxes.

V.P. Biden, a strong middle class would be saved by giving them the bulk of the 'stimulus' Bill and the rest of the TARP. This is the only way people would pay off credit cards so the credit companies would then be able to lend out money to the SMALL businesses again. THINK. THINK. THINK: CIRCULATION. President Obama, the "stimulus" bill is a failure. I suggest that you emulate pres. Andrew Jackson in this and oppose the Democratic pressure groups. "Failure" that the proposed Bill would not stimulate the economy immediately.

The senate would need to revise the BILL by removing the $75B smoking program and other programs which would only be enacted 2 years later and give the money to the working people by looking through the Payroll tax system.

Honestly, who would file tax returns if they owe money? That is why my ROBUSTproposal would penetrate into the economy. Remove the other spending programs and give the people ALL of the rest. So, they could spend it themselves. The rest of the TARP would also be given to the people. Sent the checks through Social Security or another agency that keeps up with Pay roll tax info.
