@11tonto no system will crash becouse while you defragment you also deleting internet temporary files like in disk celanup so my advice is not to be on internet :D

I currently use AVG PC tune up 2011...but I have no problem going with this option. I learnt something today thanks!

Well, it's not actually advanced. Using Windows Defrag is very easy, just a few clicks!

no, defrag will never mess up your computer, 99.9% of the time it will give a massive performance increase at starting windows, opening programs, and copying files.

the 0.1% is when it fails because you have a faulty hard drive and your whole windows installation get's corrupted, something you shouldn't worry too much about ;)

i dont use defragment disk or other programs because it defrags files you dont need but the files you dont need you still want i suggest to delte files REMEMBER even if you delete them you didnt get more space becuz you probably didnt delete them permantly =D this is wat i kno at 11 years old wich i am right now... well i think 1000kb=1mb 1024=1gb 1tb=1000gb can some1 tell me wat tb means i only kno the value of tb
