The reason is so that the charger will double for the dock connect AND to get the license for usb and the now obvious mhl connects is cost prohibitive I mean the tablet is literally the most bang for your buck in that form factor thank you android

This thing theoretically has more GHz than my laptop, although I don't know how 2.13GHz dual core matches up against 1.3GHz quad core + 1 core 500MHz, although technically my laptops 4.26GHz is less than the Prime's 5.7GHz

By that time, the basic "swype finger to change screens" part of it was still running strong. But, Google didn't have the ability to introduce something like this at that time. They had to get it into working condition, convince a manufacture to make a phone to run it, etc. The point is, Googe didn't see ios and copy it like some people think
