  • I was hoping to see the one where the voice keeps singing "Pick up the phone!!"

  • This is when late night ads were FUN to watch!

  • My Daddy and I would watch USA late on Sunday, and the Silk Stalkings intro would come on and it would embarrass the tar out of me. Lol.

  • question!!! did anyone ever call these type of numbers? i remember these commercials as a kid and saw them on the USA network. its funny to see these now! crazy that anyone would call them... but im sure guys did.

  • i was so young...i had no clue what they were talking about

  • This was before Myspace and Facebook haha

  • @southport97 fuck facebook

  • 1:11

  • Wow. These commercials taped late Friday night and early Saturday Morning.

  • The ad I remember most is "Pick Up The Phone!", it was on Up All Night all the time. Ah, memories...

  • Hey Retard at 1:01, Vanilla Ice wants his hair back.

  • Yep, USA was pretty sleazy back in the day, even when it came to some of their programs. Hotline ads were like the pop-ups of '90s cable TV.

  • Man, this brings back memories...my mom and I would sit up late on Friday and Saturday nights and watch "USA Up All Night" and "Saturday Nightmares," and they'd show so many of these phone ho commercials I could quote them to memory...and I did.

  • I remember these as a kid watching USA Up All Night. Awesome!

  • i wish it was so easy for men to make money too

  • @pedinoway2 It is, search " 1-900-dude"

  • @pedinoway2

    Exactly!

  • I want all my fantasies fulfilled for $5/minute...

  • WOW! That commercial from 4:20 to 4:49 is a trip.

  • Five dollars!? Get out of here!

  • what year was the first one? looks 88

  • i got so sick of these call me commercials

  • didnt usa used to have something called t&a on friday or saturday late night?

  • What's amazing is that hokey ass phone lines like this still exist (Saturday night airings of Cheaters practically run all phone-dating ads). In this internet age of online hookups, who the hell would still call one of these??

"Wanna get something off your chest." Hopefully she starts with her bra.

  • if they ever come out with a real live Matrix where we can have bang any hot chick dead or alive have a hot actress from the 40's in her 20's or whatever age in there.

I'd never leave it I'd be having sex 24/7 in there. enjoying all my fav sexual desires by everyone. but of course I'd have to have a kick ass harem in MIA with a Black 90 500 SL Benz Convertable

  • Oh god I remember these things so much. I really used to look forward to seeing these things during the commercial breaks on USA Up All Night. Looking back on it now I realize how bad they look and I didn't want to pay FIVE FREAKING DOLLARS now and I wouldn't then.

  • @thisisrumorcontrol lol, what you said was cute. Me and my friend used to call the 800 dirty numbers in the early 90's just to listen to the sexy girls. Really BAD! for some reason they were bad influences on us, LOL! They are really corny.

  • If I'm not mistaken, 900 numbers came to largely replace 976 numbers, which were more prominent in the 80's.

Atleast that's how I remember it.

Thanks a million for uploading this piece of history!

  • Man, when I was 12 this was all I needed. Damn you, internet and your easy porn access!

  • I used to watch Rhonda on Friday nights when I was 12 and I remember seeing these late night advertisements. To think at the age of 12, I really thought these commercials were hot. But hey there much better than those shitty Live Links commercials they have now. Man cables gone to hell. Rhonda come back!

  • When I saw these when they where new I veiwed them as silly and annoying. however now I must say the girls are awfully hot. Especlally compared with todays low rent slovenly trash. This is the last of the glamorous 80s living on for a bit into the 90s only to be killed by "progress" thus giving us hideous styles we live with now Yeah, love that big hair! And yes they are using real phones not idiotic cell phones. Damn I hate those things.

  • @mzwere1 I definately hate those low rent ones but depends on where you are though some are still this hot

  • nostalgia has never been sexier.

  • Oh wow..I remember some of these! As sleazy as those commercials were at the time, they seem so innocent now. I miss the 90s :(

  • I love these. Do you have any more?

  • Pick up the phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1996 FCC and bullshit regulations ruined the 900 business forever

  • what exactly was this new regulation? i'm doing research for a paper. Do you know where I could find more info on this? thanks.

  • You cant call from cellphones, there are strict rules about advertising and theres more i think.I was going to set myself up one until I did some research.Only a few companies sell the numbers and they charge huge setup fees and stuff, it seemed really hard for me to make a profit. Now I run a partyline, but I hear that those things you text on your cell are big money makers

  • yep so much for the old days for phone dialing.

now you have internet and text messaging

    thats bullshit

  • all these chicks have huge hair like Elaine on Sienfeld. those were the days. lol

  • me and my brother use to stay up all night watching these things and laughing at them because they were so damn cheesy. lol..ah great memories! WPWR here in chicago had some great ones!

  • Oh yeah, I remember at least half of those! Used to love these commercials!

  • Back in the day, USA network probably showed more 1-900 commercials than any other cable channel. Most of these commercials were meant to be sexy but some came across as plain errie for some reason.

  • Agreed. Particularly the fifth to last one in this video.

  • Oh man if that was free i had have my little brother do it, put it on speaker, and i'd get a camrea to video tape it. ROFL LOL!

  • I have a few confessions to make. XD

  • Nothing spoils "romance" faster than "$5 for the first minute."

    Talk about "phoning it in."

  • I remember about half of those. fond FOND memories...

  • Love the 80's Bon Jovi rock groupie or whitetrash slut hairdos.. Hehee :P

  • Meh these ads were good once up here in Canada when one couldnt sleep or got home from the bars. They dont show them anymore for some reason.

  • THey don't show them anymore because Internet porn has taken their business.

  • Yeah, that and text messaging.

Also, services like LiveLinks or LavaLife have LOCAL numbers in major metropolitan areas.

  • Fantasies...fantasies!!

  • Man I was hoping you had the one with the catchphrase "PICK UP THE PHONE" :-(

  • I know I same here. "pick up the phone! hot girrll"

  • I remember this goofy shit on USA! I watched Up All Night every weekend when I was a kid.

My brother actually called a bunch of these 1900 numbers and racked up a huge phone bill and got it disconnected because my parents couldnt afford to pay the bill!

They should have beaten him to death for that but unfortunately they didnt:(

  • I can't believe that these cheesy sex line commericals would become so nostalgic.

  • Yeah call and talk to some saggy tittied grandma, have her talk dirty to you.The girls on the commercial, aren't on the phone.

  • This was back when usa network had that camp thing going, especially with the type of late night movies they use to show..

  • These commercials made USA even more tacky and downscale. I still loved it, though.

  • "Oh baby, oh baby, oh baby..." *laughs*

Since you can just "text FLIRT to 44123" or whatever these days, do they even use the premium 900/976 numbers for anything anymore?

  • we still have some of these adds over here in australia..lol but not so many now as its manly sms messages now.

  • USA still airs these ads late at night! I saw one during the 1 a.m. rerun of Monk earlier this morning!

  • Yeah, but nowadays they're text-message commercials as 1-900 numbers would become a thing of the past when the Internet arrived.

  • ive seen the love commercials like this like the 1 800 818 girl one and there was others, the ones ive seen they charge like the 900 numbers like 5 bucks a minute or something, I saw them while watching late night movies on USA

  • Call me crazy..... but I remember that clip @4:20...... very 80's

  • LOL.. God that's so funny. I totally remember these cheesy 900 numbers on late night television, classic..the days before the internet.

  • Being remined when my FOX station went this way after midnight back then.

  • Beautiful! I would like to be one of these phone mouthpieces! Lipstick kisses on them!

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • Same here. Too shocked to know what to think of it.

  • Mann, THOSE were the days..before everyone had internet access (I had a commodore Amiga back then), those glorious 900#'s were THE way to go!!!

I never really called one 'cuz I couldn't afford to throw money away back then, but I just KNOW it would have been cool, because...well, just check out the commercials, how could they NOT be cool?
