  • woww

  • well logan has ibera virgin atlantic british airways 747 and 777 and air france so theres 2 airbuses and boeings

  • very shaky camera work

  • So there are 747's at Logan? I've been there many times, and I've never seen one there D:

  • Thats because they are usually international flughts which leave in the evening around 6 and 7pm.

  • Ah, okay then. I hope to see one there some day though :D

  • Actually I was just on an Air France 747 and it was there at 4:00. At the same time there was also a British Airways 747 aswell

  • Typical airlines flying "47's" out of KBOS are Virgin Atlantic, British Airways (might be all 777's now) and Lufthansa, to name a few consistent ones. Drive by terminal E and look around the bend - there's often one right there.

I worked at Logan up until October of 2001 - After September 11, business dropped so sharply, I had to find another job.

  • Nice camera work

  • How did you know where each plane was going to or coming from?

  • Well the international ones were kinda obvious, and for the domestic ones, before i went up to the garage, I went inside the terminals to get down flight departure times

  • and also, american doesnt fly Raleigh, it was done by american eagle!

  • i worked for american eagle in BOS we didnt emb145 in BOS. thats either a 135, or a 140

  • I might offer a few places where you could use a tripod or no tripod and not have to deal with looking suspicious. Try Winthrop (there's a playground off of Yrrel Beach) on Shirley Point and also Winthrop beach for landings/Deer Island Park etc. Also Constitution beach has great view of the runways from across the cove. I love to swim there in summer and watch the planes. (off the blue line orient heights)

  • I actually just went to that beach yesterday, right by orient heights

  • ah well cool footage anyway! Was that from the top of the terminal B garage? I wonder if you contact massport ahead of time they'd allow you permission to take photos up close around the airport as long as you check in first with the state police?

  • Yes, this was terminal B parking garage

  • is it allowed? im a huge aviation fan in the KBOS area

  • IDK if it is allowed or not, but when i went in February, I didnt get questioned,

  • hmm interesting. if you go outside terminal E on the 2n level you can get a glimpse of gates E8A and E8B where Air France/Alitalia/Iceland Air usually park. but thanks for the info

  • dont forget TACV whick parks at E8B ;)

  • No go to Terminal C gates 16-21 for United airlines.

  • haha and TACV too

  • I think they were illustrating you need a tripod to film :)

  • Yes, plus it was windy that day, and also if i had a tripod, the security cameras might start getting suspicious of me

  • I don't unnerstand what the point of tis video was. What were you illustrating.

  • Does it need to illustrate something?
