Typical airlines flying "47's" out of KBOS are Virgin Atlantic, British Airways (might be all 777's now) and Lufthansa, to name a few consistent ones. Drive by terminal E and look around the bend - there's often one right there.
I worked at Logan up until October of 2001 - After September 11, business dropped so sharply, I had to find another job.
Well the international ones were kinda obvious, and for the domestic ones, before i went up to the garage, I went inside the terminals to get down flight departure times
I might offer a few places where you could use a tripod or no tripod and not have to deal with looking suspicious. Try Winthrop (there's a playground off of Yrrel Beach) on Shirley Point and also Winthrop beach for landings/Deer Island Park etc. Also Constitution beach has great view of the runways from across the cove. I love to swim there in summer and watch the planes. (off the blue line orient heights)
ah well cool footage anyway! Was that from the top of the terminal B garage? I wonder if you contact massport ahead of time they'd allow you permission to take photos up close around the airport as long as you check in first with the state police?
hmm interesting. if you go outside terminal E on the 2n level you can get a glimpse of gates E8A and E8B where Air France/Alitalia/Iceland Air usually park. but thanks for the info

I think they were illustrating you need a tripod to film :)
DreamworkSKG 4 years ago
Yes, plus it was windy that day, and also if i had a tripod, the security cameras might start getting suspicious of me
alx2925 4 years ago
