Obviously it is detrimental to children, but even with adults, there's a problem as well, because pornography is not separated completely from reality in the viewer's mind. Any sexual image whether in commercials, tv, movies or porno creates images, and an image whether positive or negative is still a psychological projection which is a false thing. Those images are the cause of further suffering, because it judges beauty, objectifies, and begets divisions. Pornography is essentially wrong.

Soft porn has become accepted on TV all of the time. You are just as responsible for soft porn on TV as parents are. Not always. When children are away from home to visit a friend, the parent does not necessarily know what happens at the friend's house. I KNEW the other parent....but I didn't know her "boyfriend" at the time, He had magazines and left them where the kids could get into them. Scarred my son for life.
