  • islam is loser

  • I could've ended the debate in about 10 seconds. I would first say, "I will now show you that Islam is violent" I would proceed to yell "Muhammed is a pedophile child rapist!" the durka durka's would then proceed to rush the stage trying to kill me. Point proven.

  • she is not wearing tudung for muslim

  • "Is Islam a Religion of Peace? " Remind me, why does this woman need bodyguards?

  • Maajid Nawaz grew up with the blessings of the freedoms of the UK & ended up turning on this blessing and joined Hizb ut-Tahrir which spread words of violence, hate, sexism & totalitaranism. I am shocked he claims Islam is peaceful when he was in an organisation which had 1000's of members which carried out highly non-peaceful activites and often preaching violence. Zeba Khan is very lucky to have grown up in the West - in many countries she would've been attacked for attending a synagogue!

  • To Be Honest The Muslim Team was very weak while the other team, especially Ayaan were very articulate, moreover I feel that Zeba Khan was not versed enough in Islamic Scripture and her and Maajid were forced into the defensive too much. But if that was me booooy i would of wiped the floor with her,

  • @Mikeybetts Where did you get that Aisha was 6 when marrying Muhammad? What are your sources, and how much do you know about the Hadiths? I'm guessing you know next to nothing about them, and couldn't tell me the source of Aisha being 6 to save your life. I could though, and I could explain why that source is wrong.

The Quran doesn't say anything about Aisha's age when marrying Muhammad.

  • basically Zeba Khan admits that women are having to fight for their rights in Islamic countries. Amazing how she says Iran is one of the better countries for women - bloomin heck - women are still stoned there and Amnesty International has had to start a campaign there to stop this as the Gov't won't. If this is the best example of women's rights in Islamic countries then shame on Islam. Doesn't that say it all?

  • @Judipops13 Women's rights is a political issue, not an Islamic issue, search women's rights in Islam in google or read the chapter in the Quran called "The Women". As a matter of fact, study the whole Quran with an open mind.

  • @AjdinCerenic I entirely disagree - many of the attitudes towards women and men are firmly grounded in religious texts which have been followed for thousands of years. The claim women were CREATED second, the claims that Eve committed the first sin, the claim she lead Adam astray, the "virgin birth" leading to demans for women to be "pure" at marriage etc. The list goes on. I have read the Quran and know "The Women" very well - it is a very sexist part of the quran.

  • Comment removed

  • @Judipops13 Third, I don't see how the virgin birth is sexist or demeaning. As far as the demands for women to be "pure", that goes hand in hand with the demands for men to be "pure". Read the Quran again!

  • @AjdinCerenic That opnion would only come from a male. There are thousands of women who take offence to the virgin birth - Why did God need a virgin? What would it matter if Mary had had sex before?. Please also show me where the Quran demands a man to be pure? I think it's you who needs to read the Quran again - through a woman's eyes.

  • @Judipops13 The virgin birth was a miracle and a sign to the people . If it wasn't a virgin birth, it would have been a regular birth and it would have had far less of an impact. “The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication, flog each of them with a hundred stripes: Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.” (Qur'an, Surat an-Nur, 24:2

  • @AjdinCerenic So you are saying that the birth of a child from God would have been less of miracle if the mother wasn't a virgin??? Why??

  • @Judipops13 Are you serious? Because if she wasn't a virgin and she wasn't the most honorable and chaste, and from the most honorable and chaste family, nobody would have believed the birth was a virgin birth and a miracle god. Jesus (AWS) would have been considered a bastard child and not a messenger of Allah.

  • @AjdinCerenic "she wasn't the most honorable and chaste" So non-virgin women are not honourable? Non-virgin women are liars and cannot be trusted to tell the truth?

  • @Judipops13 Again, you need to consider the entire context. Consider the culture that Mary, mother of Jesus lived in. No matter how honorable or chaste she was, there were still people that didn't believe her at that time. Honestly, would you believe somebody that's sexually active that the father of their baby isn't somebody they had sex with but rather God?

  • @AjdinCerenic How do we know that Mary was a virgin? How do we know Jesus was God's baby? Why do people care if she was a virgin? If there is evidence it's God's child then it doesn't matter if she was a virgin or not - it's God's baby.

  • @Judipops13 That's all a matter of belief. You could ask "How do we know" questions about almost everything in the past. As a Muslim, I believe in God and his messengers, therefore I believe in their messages. To me, there is a lot of sound logic in the Quran, that hasn't been disproven in the last 1433 years. There is a reason that Islam is the 2nd largest religion with over a billion and a half followers and is also the fastest growing.

  • @AjdinCerenic Exactly & there are millions of beliefs. Many beliefs contradict each other. Who knows what the truth is - somewhere millions of people are wrong. You think the quran has sound logic - I think it's one of the most confusing and contradictory texts I have read, closely followed by the bible. These two books make extraordinary claims that have no factual basis. Hence why so much FAITH is needed.

  • @AjdinCerenic My ONLY concern is that both the bible and the quran and other religious texts are sexist in parts and that people claim these texts cannot be contested/questionned. This is HIGHLY dangerous for women and is resulting in women suffering all over the world.

  • @AjdinCerenic e.g. please explain Surah 4:34 which states "If you fear high-handedness from your wives......ignore them when you go to bed then hit them".

Why is there no corresponding Surah pertaining to the treatment of men if a woman finds her man to be high-handed? How should she handle him?

  • @Judipops13 If a women finds her man misbehaving she has the right to demand a divorce from him or complain to her father, brother, uncles etc to sort him out.

  • @tusukashani she has a right to complain - but no right to refuse to sleep with him or hit him?

  • @AjdinCerenic The reason Islam is the fastest growing is mainly because more babies are born to Muslim families not due to conversions.

  • @Judipops13 So you're saying that Muslims reproduce at a rate higher then Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, etc??

  • @AjdinCerenic Yes that seems to be the case. As of 2011, it is predicted that the world's Muslim population will grow twice as fast as non-Muslims over the next 20 years. That's double the birth rate.

  • @AjdinCerenic In addition many people who may wish to leave Islam are scared to do so as the punishment for apostacy is extremely harsh and it is viewed as bringing SHAME on the family.

  • @Judipops13 That may be true, but a great majority of Muslims would ever want to leave Islam. Also, most of the people that "convert" to Islam never revert back to something else, even though they likely face pressure from family to do so, why do you think that is?

  • @AjdinCerenic How do you know the great majority wouldn't want to leave Islam? No stats on this. People have many reasons for converting - in this world of globalisation - people convert for marriage reasons or simply that faith fits with how they think. Christianity is the same. There is certainly a growing number of people who are turning to more simple forms of spirituality without a doctine or book - such as Taoism & Buddhism. I am very spiritual but I follow no religion.

  • @AjdinCerenic You must admit that Islam has the biggest threats attached to it if one leaves. There are women in my country who receive death threats for leaving Islam or for dating/marrying a non-Muslim. There are honour killings here and women living in hiding. I know of no other religion that has this concept of honour and a right to punish if one leaves. If someone stops being a Buddhist for example - there is no punishment.

  • @Judipops13 So you say that you don't know of any culture that "has this concept of a right to punish if one leaves"? Might I ask you then what is the punishment for treason in the US and every other political entity on this planet as outlined in their law. You want to attack Islam from one side for being such a religious political body and then you want to attack it again for assigning a punishment for treason.

  • @tusukashani You quoted me inaccurately - I was talking about religions that punish - not cultures. I know of NO other religion that punishes for leaving the faith. Christianity used to 100's of years ago but no longer does. You raise the argument of treason??? What a nonsensical argument! Treason is where one plots of overthrow a government, or plot to kill the monarch. There are minimal cases of treason anyway. What has this to do with being punished for leaving ones faith?

  • @tusukashani What about other express punishments in the Quran? for theft (cutting of hands, 5:38), illicit sexual intercourse (100 lashes, 24:2), and unsubstantiated accusation of adultery (80 lashes, 24.4) - Do you agree a person should have his hands cut of for theft? or a person lashed/flogged?

  • @Judipops13 cont-You are pic'n'mix with these concepts either one or the other, you cannot have your cake and eat it to.

  • @Judipops13 Furthermore, there is no explicit and I challenge you to produce one, verse inside the Quran which mentions apostates or their punishment. What the Quran says is that the punishment for those who spread corruption in the land.I.E Treason which is defined as the undermining of the state is the capital one. When a Muslim, who lives inside a Muslim State, apostates and chooses to follow another religion there is as the Quran states in chapter 2:256 no compulsion in religion. However cnt

  • @tusukashani Oh come on you are really twisting reality there - Do you really think no-one ever gets punished for leaving Islam? The quran is inconsistant on this point as you well know. It has verses like 2.256 as you quote but then there are MANY respected clerics who state death is the punishment. Saudi Arabia, has the death penalty for apostasy from Islam so how could anyone from Saudi Arabia convert? I am not saying ALL get punished but there are many who do worldwide.

  • @tusukashani There are many other similar hadiths from various sources which prove beyond any doubt that the Islamic Shariah punishment for apostasy is execution. This is precisely the reason why some Muslims have to hide their apostasy or risk execution.

  • @Judipops13 What so your telling us that the "punishment"for apostasy is carried out in Western countries were Islam is not decreasing but growing in numbers?

  • @tusukashani Again you twist my words - Punishment for apostacy occurs WORLDWIDE. In some countries it is legal to kill for apostacy in some it is a crime. Islam is growing in numbers in Western countries due to the BIRTH RATE & IMMIGRATION.

  • @tusukashani You are also ignoring hadiths - many Muslims do not simply follow the Quran and nothing else. Hadiths are followed too. According to Sahih Bukhari 'No doubt, I would have killed them, for the Prophet said, 'If somebody (a Muslim) discards his religion, kill him.' Sahih Bukhari (9:83:17). Some agree with this some do not. There are definitely scholars out there preaching daeth for apostacy. There are scholars in my country who have been caught on film saying this.

  • @AjdinCerenic No child EVER should be called a bastard - its a disgusting treatment of a child and it's mother - we are getting nearer to the truth of how the bible/quran labels women!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @Judipops13 Do you know what he word "bastard" means?

  • @AjdinCerenic It doesn't matter what the word bastard means literally - it's how it is used within cultures. In English it is a HIGHLY derogative term and many children are verbally abused with this word.

  • @Judipops13 PS. there are MILLIONS of women that don't take offense to the story of Adam and Eve or the virgin birth

  • @AjdinCerenic How do you know there are millions of women who don't take offence? Do you know millions of women? You cannot make judgments without facts to back them up.

  • @Judipops13 Because there are millions of women that are Jewish, Christian, or Muslim. Actually hundreds of millions, if not a couple billion.

  • @AjdinCerenic Just because a woman is of a certain faith doesn't mean she agrees with 100% of what that faith says.

  • @AjdinCerenic "First, I don't take much value in who was created first" - I am happy to hear that you don't - but look at the world with open eyes - women are treated secondary in many countries and in many ways. I'm not just making this up. The bible and the quran have had a HUGE influence on how women have been/are treated. If these texts treated women equally there would be zero sexism in the world as most people at one point in history were Christian or Muslim.

  • @AjdinCerenic and please do not insult me by saying I do not have an open mind. I read the words of religious texts - they are pretty clear to me. I notice many religious people interpret the text to meet their beliefs. There are many many questionable statements in both the bible and the quran. If one is not permitted to question the quran - How can one see that it's questionnable???

  • @Judipops13 I don't see how me saying "I think you're confused in your interpretation of the Quran because you're not studying the whole text or you're not studying with an open mind" and then defending that statement with facts is an insult. Those religious people that misinterpret text are closed minded. Also, there's nothing wrong with questioning anything, but give fair consideration to the things that don't necessarily fall in line with your beliefs and their entire content.

  • @AjdinCerenic You don't think it's insulting to call someone closed-minded whilst by implication assuming yourself to be open-minded?

  • @Judipops13 I said that I think that you're not studying the Quran with an open mind, not that you're closed-minded, which is a far more general statement. I never said anything about myself, but I do strive to be open-minded and to learn from all people. That's exactly why I was looking at videos of a woman insulting my religion.

  • "Those religious people that misinterpret text are closed minded" There are lots of ways to interpret any text. You call people closed minded because they do not interpret as you do!!

  • Islam is not a religion of peace. What are Muslims? They are followers of Muhammad. Who was Muhammad and what did he do? He is the Prophet that Allah spoke to and his revelations became the Koran's scripture. He was also an militant, evil man that raided over 65 caravans, killed thousands of people, many of which by be-heading. Muslims are commanded to emulate or be like their Prophet Muhammad......now you wonder why Islam is not a religion of peace....it's very roots are hostile.

  • Ayan Alis comments on Islam are like those from someone with no brain and liked by those with less.

  • Zeba Khan is definitely a few things. 1) A beautiful woman 2) A very intelligent woman 3) A very scared woman 4) A very unprepared woman... she will get better, I'm sure, but she was a bit out of her league in this debate. Not in intelligence, but rather her skill in debating.

  • @jandabrock I dont care I do understand english, I speak it almost fluently and 5 other languages. Now im learning arabic and hebrew.

  • Islamism, "modern islam"... yeah, because this stuff wasn't going on since the Quran began to be read. Same with the bible. It's been happening since it began, not "modern"... unreal.

  • b.s women rights in islam ok

  • @Leonce62 You said Holland is filled wit prostitution and Hirsi don’t even talk about that evil. These days Dutchman don't go there because neighbourhoods with prostitutes are filled with muslims. They might get robbed. Muslims have lots of sexualfreedom but have to stay away from Muslimwoman. And the unbelieverswoman are as phobic for muslims as muslims for homosexuals. That’s why especially muslims go to prostitutes. Or they become rapists. But you don’t talk about that evil.

  • Comment removed

  • @Leonce62 There are no pedophiles in the islamicworld because islam sees it as something normal. Or else Muhammad would be abnormal. So full grown man can marry a six years old girl and have sex with her as much, and anyway, he wants to and there is nobody who can say anything about it. That’s all because Muhammad set the example.

  • @Aristotelezz U cant just say something u dont have knowledge about a person who lived 1400 years ago. U need proofs to justify ure case bro.

  • @Leonce62 You accuse me of saying something I don’t have knowledge about. For a person who lived 1400 years ago I need proof to justify my case you say. Well let me ask you, since you are a believer, I suppose, where is your proof that the thing that are written about Muhammad are thru...

  • Why muslims are followers of the examples of Muhammad? Everything they know about him is written by hadithwriters who lived 200 years after him. And these hadithwriters can’t be criticised nor questioned. Everything they wrote about him must be accepted. My question is how they gained such a high status. No example they wrote about him can be criticised, so aren’t it in really the hadithwriters who are above criticism instead of Muhammad?

  • Talking about slander. What did the hadithwriters write? They wrote that Muhammad was married to a six years old girl. And that he beheaded a 1000 Jews who surrendered. And he even married a girl the same day he murdered her husband father mother brothers and sisters. Why aren’t these stories slander? The hadithwriters never met Muhammad but muslims submit to them anyway. So how can you be so sure these stories are true and why aren’t they slandering the prophet?

  • dont have an hour and 45 minute to answer a question that is answerable in one word

    "no"

  • How does one kill apostates peacefully?

  • @Gplumbz WORDS OF WISDOM WILL KILL THEM..

  • ayan is beautiful...

  • islam religion of peace and justice&saudi the best country in the world ! this is what all radical mullas say...i came to know about an incident in saudi that a philipine guy was punished with 20 lashes for wearing a half pants..same time us service soilders ladies wear mini and micro mini skirt roams free...once mullas created problem for a us lady, next day all the mullas from a nearby mosque was taken in by us military...and mullas were thrashed.by the soilders...so this law applies to poor

  • Zeba Khan is extremely naive and ignorant of her own religious faith, Maajid Nawaz on the other hand is blaming the west and also ignores the religious views itself, often is wrong about the theological background of certain islamic teachings.

Yes, maybe the jihad by sword and suicide bombing is unislamic, but the concept of "war" or even "struggle" against(!) the unbelievers is bad enough, adding to the islamic orthodoxy, that is inherently mysogynistic and repressive in almost every way.

  • I was disapointed that the Muslims on the panel didn't answer those questions to the best of Muslim knowledge, specially the verses Ayan spoke of and the question based on them. So many misconceptions and not one of them was dealt with. Muhammad married Aisha when she was 16/17 and not 6, as simple math and history would show. The verses Ayan quoted were directly regarding when the Meccans broke the peace treaty with the Muslims by killing a group of unarmed Muslims - and they're conditional.

  • @FireSign27 lol no. She was definitely a little kid. All Muslims and Islamic scholars do not deny this.

  • @TheSasss1 Many Muslims and scholars deny it. You'd understand why, if you did some research. Aisha's sister Asma was 10 years the elder. We know the year Aisha got married, the age of Asma at that time, and the year and age of Asma when she died. it's pretty easy to workout the true age of Aisha with that. There are many logical arguments against '6 y/o', such as who actually narrated the age as 6, and the fact no one under 15 was allowed to take part in the Battle of Uhud - and Aisha did.

  • @FireSign27 And I see you fooling yourself. Now the "blood-thirsty" clique of Muhammad were "really not aggressors".

  • @TheSasss1 Muhammad certainly wasn't an aggressor. You should really do some reading into the history of Islam, I recommend watching 'The Message' as it gives a pretty correct account. Yes Muhammad took part in Wars, but the Muslims were always on the side of self defence. Muhammad was very peaceful and only faught when he was attacked. He was exiled from Mecca for 13 years without lifting a finger in rebellion - during which time the Muslims were denied trade, shelter, and Muhammad's wife died.

  • @TheSasss1 [cont].. The Meccans exiled him and preaching to help orphans, the poor, and against their Pagan Gods. They tried everything to silence Muhammad, from bribery to assassination, then to warfare. After 3 wars a peace treaty was formed, which the Meccans broke. Muhammad then reached Mecca with an army of 10k strong - but not a single drop of blood was shed. Why? Because Muhammad was not an aggressor, he only fought when he had to. Only the clueless would call Muhammad bloodthirsty.

  • @TheSasss1

I see you're ignorant of history?

I guess reading just means what you want it to mean, huh?

  • @TheSasss1 Anyone who's bothered learning about Islam can see who the real fool. The Quran openly states that God hates aggressors, and only permits self-defence/retaliation - and even retaliation has many rules and guidlines. If Muhammad was a hypocrit he wouldn't have got followers - and Mecca would have been completely massacred after attacking Yathrib/breaking the peace treaty, not forgiven.

  • @FireSign27 Muhammed is not even the founder of Islam,it was there since man poot the foot on earth. She does not even got an islamic education to talk trash about islam. She was brought up muslim, and if its not peaceful so why are so many people accepting this system of faith,.?

  • @FireSign27

dude, Aisha was 6 when married to mohammad and 9 when he raped her, peadophilia was a common accepted practice back then, and in many places in all musim countries, still is an accepted practice.

stop trying to deny what your own book says to appease to western morality.

mohammad was a bloodthirsty womanizing paedophile! face it!

  • At 36:10 he says the so and so tried to reform the religion and they were wiped out. I couldn't catch the name who are they??

  • fuck yeaa! Against the motion won! :D

  • Why did we not witness any Muslims protesting in America when the Islam extremists bombs innocents in the name of Islam!

  • My stand....would be, Islam is not a religion of peace. Not by basing on media exposures, but by my own experiences and research. They kill people who converts or leave the faith, that is wrong. They have a big head, thinking they are right all the time, that is wrong. They always mistake culture and faith, that is annoying. But hey, every religion has different follower....this is just my opinion.

  • Muslims even here in Australia where I am would even kill their own brother over money, drugs, girls etc... they love fighting. Love mayhem. Love being loud and arrogant. Ever seen an Arabic film? Even when they're talking to each other kindly, they YELL!! It's in their blood to be violent, loud and aggressive people... they fight with their own shadow!

  • ISLAM is clearly a religion of WAR and KIlLINGS....they hate other religions most esspecially CHRISTIANS**for example from where i come from in NIGERIA,there have been series of bombings and man slaughter by fellow muslims killing other christians because of hatred....

  • The problem is some ppl already have their preconceived notions about Islam...and ppl like Ayan Hirsi add more salt to the injury by spreading a propaganda for her own interest. Plz read the Quran and judge on ur own.

  • @docerr9 I have read the quran and I suggest everyone do so as well. It is an awful and evil book that demands death at every turn of the page. There is no book more evil than the quran and I urge EVERYONE to read it.

  • @TheSasss1 If this is your extract from the Quran then clearly did not read it.

  • @TheSasss1 the bibles not much better. ppl in general need to stop relying on religion to spoonfeed them their morals, its pure intellectual lazyness. figure it out yourself based on the facts of the 21st century; there have been plenty of ethical geniuses throughout history

  • @TheSasss1 Good recommendation.

  • @TheSasss1 you're a liar

  • @docerr9 I have read it and it is violent. It says that in the last days jews will run and hide behind trees and the trees will cry out there is a jew behind me come kill him. I have read it. If you are not a muslim you are an infidel. It calls christians and jews the same cause they serve the same God but then they are infidels. Its a lie and sending people to hell everyday. Jesus said if you try to enter heaven another way other than him you are the same as a theif and a robber.

  • @summergod27 Read it in arabic, so u will understand the metaphores. Read the Bible its more violent and horrible. Being hard like a stone it´s reference to people´s heart. So u are all way behind in ure interpretation..

  • @Leonce62 I have read the bible multiple times and I see the mercies and love of God. I see every prophecy that came about thousands of years before muhammad did and they all foretold of the messiah coming and suffering for mankind. Who was muhammad to tell me any different? I believe the old time prophets. Muhammad believed that Jesus was the messiah he just couldn't believe that he was the son of God. Poor soul. Jesus is the son of the living God.

  • @summergod27 All religion is irrational.

  • @Leonce62 Islam is the worst and most vile religion of all.

  • @Leonce62

oh dont guve us that "read it in arabic" bullshit.

if the quran was written by god, then it would be perfectly understandable and make perfect sense in every translation, for every language.

if it is only meant to be read in arabic then it was written by imperfect arab men who never counted on needing to translate it into other languages.

i have read the quran and had the quran read to me from an arab friend of mine and i can say for certain that it was not written by "god"

  • @Mikeybetts Yes u are right that arabs got problems wit vocals but many evolved Spain during the renaissance times. If the bible was written in english how can it be so perfect then and many people killed Jewish people. Some are worshipping the Christ, which people are claiming to be jewish god, who died on the cross? makes perfect sense. If da Koran was not arabic, many english words will not be clear in our modern times. Im a linguist.

  • @Leonce62 You're a linguist? You can't even speak proper English grammar, yet you're a linguist? I understand what you're getting at, but you don't need to lie to be correct.

  • Ayaan Hirsi Ali for president!

  • @Aristotelezz she is stoopid and a shameful.

  • @docerr9 propaganda i used to be a muslim and you're full of crap

  • @docerr9 true,..

  • @wagnersear Ms. Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a beautiful person inside and out - and quite an intellectual at that. Her life story is an inspiration, and she is a true hero for all those who value freedom, self-determination, and human rights - particularly the rights of women.

  • @TheSasss1 She is the ugliest Somali I have ever seen. What is so inspirational about her story, she is a liar and fabricated her story to get fame, if you don't believe do ur research plz . She talks about honor killing and women denied education, those r very cultural things and not in Islam. I wonder if she ever read Quran.

  • @docerr9 She read the Qur'an endlessly whilst growing up - in many countries incl Saudi Arabia. She had many years of private tuition by clerics. She lived in several Islamic countries. She lied to be able to stay in Holland and not be deported to face arranged marriage - not to get fame - she wasn't even in politics when she arrived - she arrived totally uneducated execpt in the Qur'an. You please do your research!! - every statement you made was false.

  • ..extremist, fundamentalist, terrorist wing does exist. Many follow a fundamentalist version of Islam called Wahhabi. So too does a much larger peaceful, moderate wing. Unfortunately, the former seem to capture all the media's attention, while the latter is rarely heard from.

It obvious that no one individual speaks for all Muslims. Islam has no single central human authority, comparable to the pope and Vatican for the Roman Catholic Church, or to various General Assemblies and the Lambeth..

  • @fromwilliams The difference is that you have one act of terror by Christians every 15-20 years and when such acts happen, the entire Christian community openly denounce it and support the trial and conviction of such individuals, and this also includes abortion clinic bombers. In contrast, the Islamic world actively promotes Shariah and other similar barbaric practices within societies, and far too often "blame the Jews" for all their problems instead of realizing that their problems are within

  • @fromwilliams So while every Muslim is not a bad person - that is simply because most Muslims fortunately do not take their faith seriously as the ways deemed by the quran and hadith as in order to be a real Muslim, one must accept without question that the quran is the literal word of god passed down to muhammad in a cave... it is unadulterated and indisputable - hence, the Muslims have not been able to question and debate their faith as other cultures have (with except of Iranian people).

  • @fromwilliams And Islam is inherently anti-human rights, anti-women rights, and anti-self determination. Why should I as an atheist and someone "born" a Muslim, be deemed for execution for this very fact if I wanted to express my rationality in Iran? Simple reason: it is commanded clearly by "allah".

  • @TheSasss1 you're ignorant, study Islam

  • @fromwilliams I wonder what text these fundamentalist are reading.

If the Koran was truly peaceful, wouldn't the fundamentalists come to peaceful conclusions if they took it literally word per word, line by line?

As for Media when someone blows up a building, that's news. It would be a disservice to the public NOT to report these things. When Muslims stop blowing up buildings, we can stop reporting on them.

  • Ayaan confuses the beliefs or practices of an individual or a small minority of believers for the entire religion. As one example, in the minds of many Americans, responsibility for 9/11 terrorist attack has spread from 19 radical, violent, fundamentalist Muslims and their Al-Qaida handlers to all 1.6 billion followers of Islam.

Islam, like Christianity, is not a homogenous religion. It is divided into many subgroups, including Sunni, Shi'ite, and Sufi. A very small, radical,hate-filled,..

  • @fromwilliams At last someone who's EDUCATED!

  • Good job ayaan!

  • @IIIKhoramdinIIIBabak Yes, definitely for having air time to convey her anger.

  • that first girl was only open minded because she grew up in a secular country.

she only had those rights growing up because she was in a secular country

if she grew up in an islamic country, she would have no rights, no voice, nothing.

to attribute her good upbringing to Islam instead of secularism is stupid

  • @Mikeybetts Nice one, now please tell me the date when WOMEN were allowed to vote in Australia?

Are you familiar with Suffragette? huh?

when could women vote in australia?

how about you ask WHEN will women be allowed to vote in saudi Arabia?

you criticise australia for women's rights, even when we're on par with much of the west, while in islam, a woman is to be killed if she shows her face in public.

  • is islam a religion of peace?

    the answer: is NO

islam is NOT a religion of peace, period

  • @Mikeybetts It really doesn't matter what u think of Islam. Whether u like it or not Islam is the most beautiful religion on this planet, but u deluded ppl want to believe what u want to believe.

  • @docerr9 beautiful?? Beautiful to kill the infidel, non-believer, or polytheist? Beautiful about roasting in hell with each side of your skin growing back while the other side is burning? lolololol

  • @docerr9

    most beautiful? HAHAHAHAHA!!

you think stoning homosexuals, beheading non-believers, whipping women who are raped, declaring jihad on a country that accepted you, forcing women to over themselves completely, beating children, beheading the children of non-muslim parents, hunting down and killing apostates, halal, banning music and many, many more.

and you think that is beautiful!? you need to get your perception of "beauty" checked

  • @docerr9 I disagree - I find Buddhism and Hinduism far more "beautiful" than both Islam and Christianity. I am neither a Buddhist or a Hindu but I have studied faiths widely. "Beauty" is a subjective matter and doesn't entitle you to call people deluded just because they disagree with you. Faith has always been a matter of subjective opinion throughout history.
