For example, when I lived in Korea in 2007, I went to one restaurant and ordered a soup called "Sunji Soup" and ate it very deliciously. It had some strange red "Tofu" curd in it. Later when my Korean friend saw me eating it, he asked me if I knew what it was I was eating. I said, "Yeah, red Tofu." He said "no, it is cattle blood cot". When you pour blood in water and boil it, it becomes like red Tofu curd. I nearly vomited.
I have worked in certain jobs where i have had to clean up shit, piss, blood, semen, rotten flesh and all sorts....only cleaning dog shit makes me bork! but even I had to pause it and go for a cigarette when she mentioned the 'blood omelette' lol

I have spoken to many people who claimed to have been with the partisans in central and eastern Europe. Many had clearly just escaped to the forest. Possibly genuine, organised partisans would take only what they needed but bandits would steal everything leaving the farmers to starve. That is what happens when law breaks down.

In the interior of the country is quite peaceful, just in southern(Helmand,Kandahar) and eastern border regions with Pakistan there are Taliban activity. I spent about 4 months in the interior, the Local Afghans were freindly to us and we helped them. The true, local partisans were often honorable and brave. The "partisans" sent by the NKDV were the only sanctioned partisans according to the Soviet (Stalin) Gov't. Seeing the way the Civilians suffered under Nazi occupation must have truly infuriated and motivated the average Soviet Soldier to seek revenge. Seeing how the Soviets acted as they began over running German cities is, while inexcusable, very understandable. Those masses of Germans cheering at the Nuremburg rallies in the late '30s didn't know what kind of Hell they were asking for when they followed Hitler blindly to their fate...

@macht7 Well macht.The majority of those who were killed in Iraq lost their lives to their fellow Iraqis, Arabs and Muslims in the violence between Sunni and Shia. Just as more Pakistanis have been killed in the violence between those two sects than in all of Pakistans wars against India. The majority of those killed in Afghanistan now are killed by the Taliban

I have to think....we are just destroying ourselves from the "mother earth", why are we doing it???........do we understand the problem?? You could study human psychology or sociology for years and not learn as much about the human condition as you learn if you watch a couple of hours of this documentary. We are very interesting creatures when put under tremendous stress.

Yea, if Nazi swallowed their hatred toward Jews, and acted as heroic liberators of the Ukraine and other Soviet states, they could have used propaganda against Soviets to the natives and therefore gain more support and army.

The intention of Hitler and germans never was to get friendly with the ucranians, these were people destined to die or serve the germans as future "masters" of those territories. The war was not against Russia, was so that Germany has more territories for its own people. Accidentally it "happens" that those territories belonged to Russia... xD
