@team1200 Not talking about junior tournaments, and even u have won the most, doesn't mean your the best. 1st Canada has played ice hockey since the first world tournament, and also back to the 1960-1980 ice hockey wasn't nearly as big thing in many countries as it is now, so they really didn't have that much experience and didn't play much back then. And by the positions Canada got in last 3 tournaments, dropped them to the 4th place on IIHF ranking list.

Thats exactly what It means. Most golds = best team. Were not going to win EVERY tournament, but we always bounce back. Usually during IIHF tournamnets all our best players are still playing in the NHL playoffs, so were not fully equipped..
