Going to see Texas tonight in glasgow and although i have always loved their sound it has to be said that their earlier stuff had a far more rawer feel to it which i prefer. this song sung in the way that it is shows that earthy feel. Looking forward to a great show tonight. Scotland should celebrate the band's incredible and natural talent.

Texas rocks! Shar is the best singer ever, & Ali de man! The inspiration for me learning guitar a few years ago. He is some class guitarist :-) Hope he is feeling better after the horrible year last year. I said a prayer for you :-)

I became a big fan when they brought out the Hush, but didn't hear this song until a few years later when I went to one of their concenrts during the greatest hits tour. Absolutely fell in love with it and it has been my favourite ever since. In my opinion one of their best songs.

This is from their first album, Southside. Their first two were GREAT and all the albums up to The Hush were good. Then they went techno pop or some such crap. Too bad. She has such a pure voice.

i must admit i rather liked "carefull what you wish for" it had nice tracks!

I don't blame them. I blame the people with no taste in GOOD music who failed to buy or even appreciate this excellent group of musicians as they were on their first three albums. They got little air-play until they fell into line with the crap that the corporate radio stations were trying to sell as music.

I first heard this song in high school and fell in love with it then. I recently rediscovered Texas and they have become my favorite band. It's a shame they did not get played in the US at all.
