Platinum Protection is the shadiest company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have tested my alarm for neighbors and waited for a call or a sheriff or some response or something. Stick with a name you have heard of for a long time. These people are gypsies. A reputable company does not have droves of sales people from out of state canvasing a neighborhood. Buyer Beware.

@artmandrew85 I signed up with platinum a few months ago, and I asked that exact question.I got an honest response. Most rejection anyone gives at the door is pure fallacy. Who wakes up and hopes a door to door salesman is going to show up? Nobody. Breaking the stereotype is the first matter of business. Once you get in the door and people are listening to them, all they do is explain how everything works. you can always simply tell them no and ask them to leave. If they have a rebuttal, so?

A sign of a good product is when someone, outside of the company selling the product has something good to say about it. When you research this company, you do not find any information that promotes it. You see info about it being a scam or that they went against state laws and sold the product when they had no legal right to do so

Obviously people have already "let loose" about their dissatisfaction with PP's services, a cursory internet search reveals this thoroughly. Even a look over the comments of this video would suffice. I got a system from Platinum a little over a year ago what a great company! I needed service one time on my system when I got a new window. They came the next day and my system works perfect. The one time it went off, (not shutting a door all the way when I left the home and it blew open) I got the phone call my system had gone off and by the time I turned around and made it back home 4 minutes later the police were already at my home. Awesome response I highly recommend!

A personal experience and a hint of personality that makes it seem less rehearsed! 4 minute response time is really lucky, being that the average is 8! Even an ambulance with lights and sirens blaring averages 6! Lucky that the cops, who don't light up the roof for a security alarm check, would get there so fast!

My experience with Platinum Protection has been nothing like the video states, except the salesman was very nice. I have not used the system for the 15 months that I have had it. The monitor on the back door fell off. My contract is for $30.00/month for five years. The installer was at my house before I ever said "Yes." Definitely high pressure sales. Check complaints with The Better Business Bureau. Check the fine print in the contract if you decide to give it a try.

. from day one, thing never worked. during the three day time period that you have to cancel prior to platinum completely ignoring your dissatisfaction, they sent some 12 yr old over here with a tool belt that tried to fix the system and motion detectors. of course they worked when he was here pushing a series of numbers on the keypad, but as soon as you left your house to try to set the alarm, problem.

My office was in the top10 out of 50 offices and I got $0 on my backend as a manager with over 90 sales for the summer and over 1500 total office sales. If you work for platinum you will not make any money unless you hit over 200 accounts and your office does over 3k accounts. Then you might make 30k that summer. Don't listen to the lies of all of the managers get out of platinum while you can I promise you will regret it if you dont mark my words.

Platinum does have some success with its customers. Every company from ADT to Brinks screws over some customers somehow, but alarms can be good things. The problem with Platinum is that they treat their employees like shit, and screwed 500 of their 700 employees out of their paychecks this summer. Platinum is a scam from the employee standpoint, and depending on your experience, could seem like it from the customer point of view too.

I have a Platinum Protection security system and I've never had a problem. It works great! Other companies I've had security systems with are not very organized. I had SAI and they couldn't keep my billing info on file. It was extremely annoying and inconvenient. I haven't had any problems with Platinum Protection.
