I totally mistook it for a ufo and when I started googling sirius star to check, all I was getting was news about the hijacked tanker

Im sure alot more people will notice it soon because its going to get brighter, but recently theres been a ton of chemtrail activity my way, so no doubt a fake sky will cover it soon

Talking about Sirius has anyone had a look at it in google earth pro yet, the picture they took of Sirius the center of the planet has been cut out of it, and even wierder still as your zooming out from Sirius look up to the right (about 12.30pm) position and you will hopefully see a remote alien landing craft - true !! try it

I see this quite often on clear nights, but it looks to me like it's getting bigger every few months. If you look at all other stars they are very small compared to this particular star.Some people say it's venus, but i reckon that this star has only been around recently, it's somthing new.Whe i talk about it to friends they think i'm mad so i'm keeping quiet until it is mentioned on the news.

at high magnifications you will see the most amazing twinkling rainbow effects that you can see here, From what i understand due to various factors such as atmospheric conditions.

The twinkling rainbow effect is due to the atmosphere bending the different colours at different amounts, in a similar way that raindrops create a rainbow.

Quite amazing to see!.

You get more of a twinkling when it is low on the horizon.

Its the first time i have caught orion with my camera using night vision to have slowed the shot down, so much light pollution in town, i can usually only film sirius was great to actually catch orion.. The problem is also that without a tripod or stabilizer sometimes you think a nighttime sky object is moving when it's not, and you think your holding the camera perfectly still, it's almost impossible to achieve this because of your heartbeat, it does actually unbalance your picture and recording image.

Despite the darkness and the actual distance I think you've done reasonably well to get what you have on camera. well done.

I've actually seen this, it is southeast. I caught a glimpse of it when I was looking for both Orion and filming Venus not long ago.

My best guess would be that it is another Star. I'm unsure which, it might be Sirius?

I know from when I checked the websites there is a star that appears to shine and twinkle in red and blue colours.

The camera definately exagerates the colours and it's intentively difficult to film without a tripod.

Another explanation, since it was a clear night it was probably very cold. The sky is full of ice crystals which refract light from stars making them seem to change color and blinking. The rate of blinking of the object could be due to high wind currents and other atmospheric activities up in the sky.

It's most likely a star or a planet as your title inclines. But it does look weird in the camera

When I was younger me and my friends actually did something like this to fool ppl.

We used a hydrogen balloon (d.2m)to which we attached pulsating LED's with batteries underneath. The balloon was then released in to the night tied to a 700m fishing line. It all looked very similar to what you filmed.

How did it disappear?

Somebody else seen it in your area?

How far away did you perceive the object to had been? - did you move in any directional distance in accordance to the object? - to determine it's approximate position or distance from you? or perhaps you were indoors all the time?

If anyone else saw it and refers to another position in the sky, we can conclude that it was much closer.
