if you chipped the 535D and done some extra fiddling around, you could end up with 450bhp and a SHIT LOAD of torque.. for much less than the M5, only problem is you wouldent get the best sounding engine in the world :(

@KPAracing You may be right. E85 is awesome... The power you get from it is amazing. My car with now 350 hp and 510 NM would be at least 420 hp I suppose. I would have modified it to E85 but in my area there are simply not enough gas stations supplying it :( :( :( :(

man muss selbst seinen m5 nicht immer bis 8500 rpm ausdrehen.. das maximale drehmoment liegt m.E. bereits zwischen 6 - 7000 rpm an und reicht zur beschleunigung bestens aus (besonders gegen einen 535d, der ansonsten aber auch nicht schlecht ist..) kenne beide wagen aus eigenem längerem besitz..

du hast keine ahnung wie die beiden autos funktionieren Am besten sind die vidsos , wo Benziner gegen turbo diesel gezeigt wird Auserdem: Ein diesel hat schon von anfang an ca : 1500rpm seine volle leistung ein benziner erst ab einer bestimmten drehzahl also z.b 4000rpm und ein benziner steigert sich von drehzahl zu drehzahl bei 1000 rpm hat der benziner vileicht 40% seiner leistung wo der diesel bis drehzahl begrenzer sich nicht steigert aber der benziner sowas von =)

With the M5 running around 10 to 14mpg I think in the long haul, I'd sooner take the 535d (around 40mpg for 280bhp). Though, the M5 would be a LETHAL weekend car!!! :D Gimme Gimme!! :D

saw a show where the m5 had to fuel up 3 times for 1000km. thats catastrophic...but 507hp is lots of power, and theres a price for that sadly.

was laberst du man vergleich einen 540 i mit nem 535 d!!!

was soll da sein? der traktor hat viel mehr drehmoment, der benziner aber mehr ps. dafür braucht der traktor aber 2 turbos dazu und der benziner hat keinen. Jetz mach mal auf nen 3liter benziner 2 turbos drauf und der traktor is ein kleiner schwarzer Punkt im Rückspiegel. Diesel sind ohne turbos nullen. ende.

der 535d ist ein altagsauto mit wenig verbrauch, deswegen holen sich die leute sone autos, fahrspaß mit geringem verbrauch
