whats the point with the balloons in the balloon battle? the way i see it and how it should be...lose all your balloons...YOUR OUT! ur not suppose to come back in! with how they have it on here, why couldnt it just be a simple score a hit, win a point...no balloons needed.

the "team" setup for battle mode sucks. sorry, i mean it's ok, but where is the "last man standing" option? that was the best part of Kart, to take out EVERYONE else... they should have left that as an option. for this reason, i can't see myself playing kart for wii as much as the previous ones.

I glad that you can finnaly play agianst CPUs in battle mode.

In the GC and N64 versions, I always wanted to play battle mode with a friend, but everyone I played only wanted to race.

I think there should have been an option to change from a team battle to a free for all battle. Perhaps they should have included shine battle and bomb battle too.

I think battle mode sucks because you have to play in a Team and on the balloon battle once you lose all your balloons your out you can't be joining back in thats stupid then whats the point of balloons can't they do something like no balloons and when they hit you they just get a point.

The Battle Modes...OMG!!! I remember the original Battle Mode around 0:38-1:02. Does anyone remember the Feather Item in that game? MAN I LOVE THAT ITEM!!!! I would always use it to jump out of the battle arena. Too bad they didn't bring that back in this game, but then again it was a cheatful item!!!!

this is the worst vs mode ever in mario kart. there is no free for all, even if you lose three ballons you just respawn again, and when this is put in with a great game like mario kart wii, it sticks out like a sore thumb. when i first played vs mode i was stunned and dissapionted.

i totally agree with you about the boosts...just sitting there and sliding and getting a free boost doesnt put skill into the game.

back in MK64, when you had to do left right left right, it required alot more skill, and thus made it more fun and challenging.

I'm guessing you have not played mario kart before, so here is a more friendly and worthwhile answer. it's automatic. you get a red or green shell item and it puts 3 shells circling around your kart.

Try playing Mario Kart DS's battle mode. You'll get cluster fucked so badly, that you can die within a minute.

Besides, it's a team battle, so I'm sure you don't want to let your team down, or get out so early that you can't play the rest of the battle.
