If you download the mod it will be inside the music folder, called "mount_and_blade_title_screen.­" There is another version without the voices, but I don;t remember the title. They were made by Adorno, who helped with the mod. I can put them up on 4shared for you if you want.

Put the mod folder you have downloaded into the Modules Folder in your Mount and Blade directory. There should already be a folder in there called "Native". Just put the new folder next to that one.

If the mod is in a file-type that you can't open, download the 7zip program and install it, then right-click on the mod file and go to "open archive."  I can't explain it any better than that, sorry.

More guns means less realism. Not too much gun crime in Glasgow - a respectable amount - but plenty of knife and hammer stuff. That's why Mount and Blade seemed like the game to build it in, rather than a GTA or, God forbid, Oblivion. It's got guns, though.

A new version was just released on the 29th of June, with a lot of new content and bugfixes. There are very few swords in it now, and a lot of new modern weapons. Updated the download link for anyone who wants a go of it.

It has moving vans and trains in it now.

dude, everytime i get quests from that guy in the building site, his quests are to talk to someone or kill someone who is located outside the map, in the "villages" like the ones from vanilla m&b

Yeah, there are quite a few bugs still, and the quests were meant to be disabled. There shouldn't be anybody at the building site giving them out unless a Lord has moved in there. I'll take those dialogues out in the new version.

The guns are modern, thanks to Geroj, who let me use some of his gun models and sounds. No SMGs, though - AK47s, Walthers, sawn-off-shotguns, modified flare pistols, and police tactical assault rifles. No Uzis. They're just not Glesga.

The gangsters only have stuff that could've been bought after an IRA or UVF "decomissioning" for realism's sake.

The horses are only used by mounted polis, who do use them a lot in real life, for riot control and at the football.

There's nothing much else that's medieval in there, unless you meant some of the weapons.

Yeah, sadly there's a bug with merchants, it's random, though, so sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. Save before entering towns is the only advice I can give right now till a new version comes out. You can definitely buy weapons from them, but guns have to be looted from people you kill, or taken from your companions.

Yeah, there's no missions in this mod, except one that I'm going to add in. The Lords will still offer you a job as their vassal, though, and you can still join the factions. It's explained better in the Taleworlds thread about the mod.

It only works with the newest version, 1.011. You can can download it free from TaleWorlds, but remember to install it to a different folder than the one it auto-selects or you'll overwrite all your 1.003 stuff.
