  • Lolz, that bald dude.

    R.I.P. John Ritter <3

  • Ritter was a class act. Rest in peace.

  • I read in an interview where his son, Jason, ended up regretting being part of the suit while the trial was going on and the verdict was reached. Fast forward a little and it's worth noticing that Amy writes about Jason in her book only when she feels she has to and never once mentions ex-wife Nancy who, from my knowledge, had nothing to do with the lawsuit. I know Nancy is the ex and all but I think it speaks volumes.

  • Ritter definitely looked like someone with an obesity problem. It was easy to tell that it was serious early on. What surprises me is the fact that his wife didn't have his ass in the hospital or some program well before the tragedy ocurred. Makes you wonder what her intentions where. We have all heard stories like this before.

  • The Ritter family is entitled to a large compensation. The emergency doctors failed. This is Medical Malpractice. Doctors don't care about people, they don't make money off healthy people so what do they do?, THEY make healthy people sick for profit and control. Never trust a Doctor. They're your worst enemy. RIP John Ritter and condolences to the Ritter family. I hope to see those Doctors sued and jailed. Thank You.

  • Why the hell is Saddam Hussein doing in related videos?

  • sad that this became about money.... John Ritter was a class act and would not want this to have been part of his legacy.....so sad. RIP

  • This is absurd! He was such a good guy! The lawsuit is ridiculous! John Ritter definitely would have been disgusted over the argument about the 67 million dollars! So sad, this is unbelievable!

  • i miss john ritter so much i cry every time i see his shows

  • did the family win in the end?

  • @Godsiboy3000 no his family did not win the $67 million.

  • Its just rich people trying to make more money, he was fat and should have taken care of himself but he didnt and died, doctors couldnt have done anything.

insurance money for medical care will go up for everyone and we will all pay for these rich bastards, doctors own insurance will also go up.

ritter got into acting due to having a famous dad and growing rich, money goes to money.

  • @26highstreet Behave. He was an excellence actor. Also, he did not die because he was "fat"

  • @jompish88 I would have thought he severe obesity would have had something to d with his health..

heart problems and so many medical issues are down to being overweight

  • @26highstreet severe obesity? yeah, he was a little on the chubby side but severe obesity? really? does a really really skinny person look normal to you?

  • @brandnewyork48 No a really skinner person does not look normal to me, but this guy looked like his face was about to explode.

The guy must have been a good 50-60lbs overweight so massively obese, in medical terms he was a heart attack waiting to happen

  • @26highstreet his face looked like it was about to explode? by any chance did you get your medical degree online?

  • when did he die?

  • R.I.P " Papa H "

  • Doctors make mistakes but not this big they killed him

  • I feel for his family, etc. But this is pure greed. That is wayyyy too much money. All they want is the money. Don't they realize doctors make mistakes?

  • We will remember you forever!

  • GREED

  • I love John Ritter! Everything he has done on TV I love and I have heard nothing but great things about him on TV and Radio. He made Three's Company! He was TV's greatest! Probably still is. He was so original and I appreciate that. God bless him and may he be with him always.

  • R.I.P. John Ritter.

    The Legend Will Never Die.

  • John Ritter had an aortic dissection!

My wife died of an aortic dissection in may 2008! Mortality rare for this condition is only 10 to 20 percent! I ask my cardiologist about this, it has noting to do with the heart. Its usually a fast and unexpected death. A total shock for the families. We were married for 41 years!

  • rest in peace John Ritter... we will never forget you...

  • Who won this case?

  • R.I.P he was an excellent actor i won`t forguet him

  • I Cannot Believe This, I Didnt Even Know Bout This Until Today When I Was Watchin '8 Simple Rules' But I Missed Part 1 Which Then Made Me Search On Here For Part 1 And Then I Saw This Video :O I Am So Shocked ... Think This Death an Like Michael Jackson And Many Others Was The Illuminati, How Can U Assume That??? To Me 'Paul' Made '8 Simple Rules' Funnier .. He Leaves Behind Hes Family, His On-Screen Family And His Fans =[ Dis Is So Sad ... RIP John..! x

  • @BabyphaceMichaelJ87X a lot of people didnt realise he was dead, kind of tells you how popular he really was and how much longer his career would have lasted.

probably dragged it out for another couple of years in some cheesy sitcom with canned laughter for a bit, living of the fact that he was once a big star, but thats about it.

in fact he was really overweight and would have probably died at any time

  • dont forget they killed Mikel Jackson

  • How much dollar are 75k ?

  • 75 000$

  • 75 thousand...wow...you should know that...K is a thousand...you never heard of a 401K?

  • and your a novelist!??!?!

  • I don't really know why a K should stand for a thousand. What word does that K stand for? And I'm not an english native speaker so you don't need to be condescending. If you like we can speak german if my english isn't good enough for you.

  • your right..it was an ignorant assumption...I do apologize..I hope it isn't categorized as an American arrogant presumption, although in all accord it just might be (without the arrogance I hope)...once again, I am sorry..

  • K = kilo = 1000 :)

  • K=Kilo=1000 is of Greek origins I think and since the ancient Greeks were basically the forefathers of many math strategies such as geometry, algebra etc. the English speakers kept the Greek origins

  • 67 million dollars? I'm glad the Ritters lost this one.

  • you're glad an amazing guy died just because otherwise it would take 67 million dollars to save his life?

  • No. Because you're so stupid I will explain it to you. Everyone including numb nuts like you pay for lawsuits. Understand? Lawyers are killing this country.

  • 1. I'm not american 2. lawyers aren't killing ANYONE 3. saving ANYONE is worth all that money

  • it's just sad that he's no longer here and i guess that no matter how much he would have been worth financially that's nothing compared to the loss of a husband, father and friend...

  • I know!!! he was my idol for me as an adult cause he is funny!!

  • THAATS SOS SADDD :`(:(:(:(:(

  • R.I.P john ritter

  • i dont think they're still making new episodes

  • but y tho????

    wasent the show sucsesful!

  • ya but i guess they didnt feel the same after his death or bcoz the show was about him dunno the show was really succesful it still is pretty famous

  • yh here in the uk they show the series and everyone loves it!!

its amazing fav charictor are all of them!

  • they ended the show because bridget and kerry weren't going to be teenagers any longer AND because john ritter died and it obviously didn't real right

  • they made episodes w/out him, but they weren't THAT successful... ):

  • the show's meant to be about how the parents handle having two teenager daughters (i know how we can be) so it wouldn't have continued the meaning of the whole show and also the girls were getting older

  • ok yh sure the family diserves the money that he would have earned bcoz if he didnt die u no they would get it n everythink sure thats understandable but 2 sui doctors 4 wat happend is a bit much u cnt blame them 4 wat happend they obviouisly tried as they try 2 save everyones life n i no they hurt n upset but i very much doubt this is wat john wants x R.I.P John x

  • I very much doubt John would have been able to read your writing.

  • what the hells wrong with his family?! i can understand them wanting something done about the doctors for the misdiagnosis, but the fact that theyre after what he would have earned?!

  • I'm wondering what John would say about such a thing. Sueing the doctors won't bring him back and I'd think that John Ritter wouldn't want such a thing! R.I.P. John

  • john ridder R.I.P

  • My grandfather died in 1998, the same way Ritter died. I don't know if it was the doctor's fault that they couldn't save him, but sometimes, I do blame them. I miss him very much and I loved him too. I wonder if he and John Ritter and him are having a good time in Heaven. I bet they are.

  • I love John Ritter with all of my heart but I don't think the doctors were negligent. I think it was just a case where he was working too hard and didn't heed the warnings that his body was telling him until it was too late. As far as the money he would have earned", this is ridiculous. In my opinion, this lawsuit is an insult to a good man's memory. John made so many people happy with his talent. I think he would have been disgusted by this negative attention.

  • The $ is inconsequential. Its the cause of action that has arisen as a result of negligence/malpractice. Unless you are in that position, its difficult to second guess. I would be pursuing the same couse of action if there was cause to believe that his condition was incorectly diagnosed.
