He commented on Maron's WTF podcast that you can do a joke about breast cancer, just as long as you don't say the words "breast cancer".

Short joke meant to be "edgy" - awkwardly long pause - another stab at being "edgy" and "out there" - even longer pause. @kelly2charmin: You can't really compare the two, it's two different styles of comedy. Louis CK isn't offensive, he's just vulgar and has a lot of situational routines (like Dane Cook, but clever and less obnoxious). I think Jeselnik really has potential, but he has to have some more well rounded material and stop with the prolonged "comedic" pauses he does. However, I do think that offensive humor is in vogue and we need more comedians who have intelligent material rather than just swear.

@dimitar1 The reason he takes pauses is because he doesn't tag a lot of his jokes - which is what Mitch Hedberg did. Louis CK is a bit comedian, Anthony seems to be about the jokes. So, since he's telling these jokes - he can't just talk through the laughter because he has to be heard for them to get it. Whereas you can miss a sentence of Louis CK, but still hear the set-up and punchline. Anthony's style (here) can only work with the pauses.
