  • Yo don't rest your hand on the shifter while it's in gear!!! Can fuck up your tranny! Sounds fucking nice, tho.

  • @skrol269 YEAH! DONT YOU DARE TOUCH THE SHIFTER

  • Dude u need to drive that car like u stole it lol it's a sti romp on her

  • ebrake?lmao

  • how much a month do you pay for your sti? im buying a new car in a month or 2

  • How is it driving manual?

im turning 16 soon and so my dad planning to buy a Subaru lyk urs

  • @MuntaAMVs haha you're not getting an sti bro.more like the 2.5i

  • @radkidmoe But the 2.5i is a great first car. Well I am still in college and I currently own a 2001 subaru impreza 2.5rs and I really like it. Soon as I end college and find a job I am getting an sti! yeaa bitchh

  • @marcky89869 amen brother. i have the same plans

  • Hey, u forgot too put the ebrake on!

  • bloody love the car. great driving and love the sound. liked when you gave it full power on the intersection :D

  • @Jordzindaplace Shit, I bet that wasnt all it had.

  • what yr is your sti?

  • @ELTURBOMAN It's a 2004, you can tell by the steering wheel. Or atleast, I can.

  • @BLAKE1444 Its a 2004, you can tell by the title ;)

and yea, 2002-2003 didnt have the blue interior,

and 2006-2007 the sterring wheel is all black, not black/grey

and if it were a 2005, it would have 2 cup holders and the E-Break would be on the left side not the right

  • @ELTURBOMAN 04

  • Hey man i was wondering if this car is worth getting because im looking into getting one.And how much did you pay for yours?

  • how did u mount ur cam? i just put mine in the passenger seat headrest where that hole is haha

  • @NeoPanzerth window mount that suction cups to the window. it was like 25 bucks or something. works pretty well.

  • i have a question.. can you come to a complete stop while on a gear?

  • @13randonLee Yes you can, just make sure the clutch is in, because if you let the clutch out you will stall the car out, many times people will come to a complete stop in 1st gear, but they keep the clutch pushed in so that the car doesnt stall

  • @blomblom123 alright thanks bro.

  • awesome video... but does are some nasty ass roads... to many bumps :P

  • im not driving yet but can you leave in 1st gear when your completely stopped like at 2:40? please reply

  • @dirtyninja13 most people leave from 1st gear when they are at a complete stop, but a lot of the turns he was making he didnt come to a complete stop which is why he didnt go to first gear, its quite common to make turns in second gear if you have not fully stopped, its all driver preference

  • @blomblom123 yup yup. 1st is pretty much just to start rolling from a complete stop. In my sti if i'm not fully stoped i cant even put it in 1st unless i force it. u know ur stuff . A good rule of thumb too is basically to hear the engine. I've made turns in 4th gear before. Just make sure u DONT go TOO slow or bad stuff could happen :P

  • @NeoPanzerth haha thats totally true, when your in a low gear like that and go too slow there is too much "weight" on the motor and it feels sluggish and then stuff doesnt seem to work right! I don't own an sti right now, I owned a wrx and am picking up an sti this spring (saving for my downpayment) but i've driven stick for about 6 years now and the best thing i've learned is drive with whatever your comfortable with, you dont have to do what everyone does unless u dont know how to drive ;) ha

  • @blomblom123 haha ya. an 07 sti has always been my dream car so i've never followed anyone with what i choose to bring into my life. I always look at how I can use it!! and i've never driven stick before so i actually learned/ still learning on my sti. I'd like to say i'm a fast learner. compared to some of the footage on utube i've seen of people tryin to drive manual. My learning was smooth. Right now i'm just trying to fully master engaging 1st gear. U know, for fast take offs/ not stalling.

  • @NeoPanzerth I totally understand what your saying...when you say your trying to master 1st gear for take off purposes, do you mean like a launch for a race? Or do you just mean take off in first without the car bogging down and getting jolty?

  • @blomblom123 just normal driving. say ur on a steep hill. i want to accelerate without rolling back even an inch. meaning u have to be super fast and have the right pedal ratio for it to go and go fast right off the bat!. My biggest fear is rolling back into someone or stalling out infront of them when a light turns green

  • @NeoPanzerth theres a couple methods, first find exactly where the grab point is in your clutch so that way when you start on the hill you can release the clutch very quickly to that grab point so you wont roll back, otherwise there is the ebrake method, its a little harder, basically pull the ebrake, start giving gas and let the clutch out and when you know your are at the grab point of your clutch and you are giving a little gas, release the ebrake and you wont roll back

  • @blomblom123 I've tried the e brake method a few time. Its easy but i dont like to HAVE to do that. The way i see it, if i have to use the ebrake method to get up a hill, then i'm just avoiding how to really drive. and learning the clutch and the ratio for throttle/clutch is exactly what i'm trying to master now, hence, master 1st gear. It should come with time. Atleast i havent been stalling it. My dad says everythings good aslong as u dont stall. keep the car moving. just dont stall

  • @NeoPanzerth yeah the best method is too keep the car moving, its just going to take some practice and you will get it down in no time. no worries man

  • @blomblom123 ya, i bascally taught myself in the course of a week that i took off work. My dad had me start off with just using the clutch to get the feel. then he took me to a parking lot and i got used to 1st/ changing gears. Then after that i did the rest. I practiced round my neighborhood and finally decided "WHAT THE HELL, NOW OR NEVER" and i took the sti on the road and drove it to my work and back home as practice. I found myself constantly shifting adjusting to the roads/ engine. !!!

  • @blomblom123 compated to some people u could even call me a natural :P haha check out some of the vids i recorded of me driving my sti. its on my other channel: panzerth. if u want :P i've only been driving a couple days on the actual road, keep that in mind ;) any feedback would be wonderful!!

  • @NeoPanzerth yeah id be down to give feedback, but i must admit I am not sure how to check out your other channel? I know its pretty lame to not know how to do that, but if you let me know, i can check out your other videos and give you some feedback/pointers or something

  • @blomblom123 search a youtube channel called : panzerth. That should lead u to my other channel. My sti vids are the most recently uploaded

  • Nice ride! Thanks for posting =). This is probably the first STI video I've seen where the driver isn't abusing it haha. I have a similar vid of my Mazdaspeed 3. Lol.

  • Drifting in the old Almacs parking lot for a next video please?

  • at 1:26 is that the road you did the 300zx tt runs on?
