  • @foxyvixen19 No, you cannot still have children after this procedure. They are burning the lining of the uterus so it "doesn't work" anymore.

  • Please can you provide links for such procedures in the uk. I suffer from adenomyosis (18 weeks - enlarged uterus). I was offered a laproscopic hysterctomy but turned out they want to cout my Cervix too (but i have no cancer). do you think this procedure can cure my condition? any advice welcomed

  • @Ahbelina an 18 week size uterus is significant. This might be adenomyosis, fibroids, etc. An endometrial ablation like the Novasure would only cure excessive bleeding. You should consider a hysterectomy as your surgeon recommends. You may discuss having a supracervical hysterectomy, the cervix is not removed.

  • @ Josebolanosmd Thank you 4 your reply. When i asked the surgeon not to remove the Cervix he became very angry & said this was his method???? and i am wondering why that is?

    Do you use this procedure on women who wish to preserve their ability to get pregnant?

    Does the ablated endometium eventually grow back? If so, how long does it take?

    Why does endometriosis appear on the outside of the uterus if the endometrium is on the inside?
