This is a perfect example of why she has never come close to the greatness that Whitney or Celine acheived (at least so far). She sounds horrible here live almost screechy. She has a great voice but definitely no where close to the quality of Whitney in her prime or even Beyonce.

I think ASEAN should form a unified language for South East Asians :-) as Europe has Esperanto, a language created from different European languages. Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese and Filipino languages sound similar anyway. And they do have similar words. I'm still not convinced why we Asians are learning to speak English where our languages is more beautiful than European. One of the characteristics of our languages which I love the most is gender-neutrality.

I noticed the program director did not use reverb (echo) in the sound system. They really want to hear and listen to the real voice of Charice. They got what they wanted and it was delivered to them in full force and emotion by no less than this young wunderkind vocal prodigy. But overall. I would say this is the best stage preparation I've seen especially how they raised everyone's excitement showing a lot of Charice's stage highlights. Kind of uplift every nerve in your body. AGREE?
