  • This song is so freaking beautiful, I can't even describe it. My interpretation is that it's about those moments when the world suddenly seems so magical and beautiful, and you try to hold onto that feeling but it slips away. And in the darker moments when you feel overwhelmed or sad and can't remember what it is you were trying to hold onto (the question). But she remembers the answer is love, no matter what.

  • My gosh, this is brilliant

  • @poonut22233 the pickle jar is so deep

  • Please please i wanna learn this song!!

  • wow...possibly one of the strangest pieces i've ever heard??..is she abstaining from medication?........

  • awsome

    i love her crazyness

    love you regina

    it's now 1:11

    i'm tired

    and i love your songs

so i hope you read this

    nightnight

  • @zunimano That is going to be one heck of a long musical.... But I definitely want to watch it.

  • "Singin' love is the answer

To a question i know, I've been asked

And the answer has got to be love" that's maybe the most simply genius thing i've ever heard.

  • Just the name of the song.

    <3

  • I hate pickles but I'll eat a thousand for Regina. Even those pickles I find in my burgers even when I specifically ask for NO PICKLES (darn teenagers).

...I wonder what the question was. We know that the answer is "love" but what is the question?

Maybe it was: What is a four letter word for something people used to say to express deep feelings for another, but no one uses anymore because it has gotten so cheesy over the years that an attempt to say this word causes a heart attack?

    Or not...

  • @elebunny45 Hmm. The question may be everything. :) I wonder if Regina knows it... In my opinion question is just question mark- it's a huge understatement so everyone can comprehend it in their own way.

  • hilarious, and deep, and beautiful.

    ....and hilarious.

  • Yehh, I think I may have a bit of a girl crush on Regina. lol XD

  • I know she has a lot of mixed heritage but this is definitive NY/Jersey talent. Anyone from the NY area - what is it about this area of the US that produces music light years ahead of the so-called scene? I love music around the world but I've always wondered. Long live NY and long live Regina Spektor

  • @fl0nk11 you are ridiculous your self, its not meant to take litterally ( don't know how to spell that ) she has lots and lots of more sense then you will ever have.

i feel sorry for you (:

  • @ThePinkBucket You must be about fourteen. That's exactly how old you sound. Also, nice grammar skills!

  • @fl0nk11 eeehm, that was an account of a friend (ThePinkBucket) but i'm not fourteen at all XD i'm just dutch, and your way of thinking seems like someone who's fourteen years old.

  • @fl0nk11 But, probably, you have to believe, because there are thousands of reginaholics ;) . Even If someone doesn't like her music, it should be known, that her fans aren't kind of people who wear pink leather/ latex pants, or are drunk all days, or cut themselves while listening to her music. Regina is harmless. She simply creates something that makes us see world in a better way. :)

  • I always knew she was a good singer, but she mostly did all those quirky notes and stuff. In this one she like belts it and still manages to keep the quirk alive. Amazing!

  • I really love this song...I remember a few years ago when I first found her...I basically just listened to Fidelity, On the Radio, Summer in the City, and Samson...I don't know how I didn't get into her other music sooner, but right now I'm obsessed with her

  • @nowibleedroses i was the same way

  • @nowibleedroses When I first found out about her. I basically listened to Fidelity, On the Radio, Us, Braille, The Call and Eet. I prefer her style of music to most others.

  • spektaculor.

that's what i'm naming the musical i'm making of all her songs.

  • @zunimano now now, remember what regina said about sharing your ideas!

  • espectacular !!! una de les millors cançons que he escoltat mai. Thanks!

  • I like that her songs are different. Her song the wallet is brilliant also

  • I mean seriously who else makes a song about a pickle so damn poignant?

  • I love this song! It's such a unusual but spot on way to express something that I think we've all felt.

  • I can't express what this song means to me.

    She says what I can't.

  • this song pretty much sums up my life

  • Since the first time I heard this song, everytime I listen to it it always gives me hope in some way

  • my favoritest-est song ever

  • mine too.

  • It brings me up. :) beautiful song.

    and love is the answer...

  • this song broke my regina virginity and instantly made her my favorite singer.

    it hasn't changed SINCE.

  • Wow This song makes my life worth living. <3 XD
