Sto piangendo... AMO Renata Tebaldi... è semplicemente perfetta. Alla voce "soprano" nell'enciclopedia ci vuole la sua foto. Le altre, pur brave, non arrivano assolutamente al suo livello, soprattutto se prendiamo in considerazione i suoi anni migliori. Un angelo, tanto in Puccini quanto in Verdi...

"O mio babbino caro" é uma dessas pequenas joias, uma desas miniaturas preciosas que os anjos nos entregam pela mão de alguns seres humanos privilegiados como Puccini. Quando nos são apresentadas numa interpretação como essa, de uma Tebaldi num momento inspiradíssimo, percebemos que há seres humanos que também são anjos.
