  • I just want to make a knit button is that to much to ask for :•(

  • :(

  • Dislike ..

  • I have a question..I started a scarf with garter stitch since I am a beginner and casted on 35 stitches randomly, now I am thinking to rib stitch to create a design..can I rib in odd numbers or can I do knit 5 purl 5 ribs?

  • Fabulous Video thank you!! I was just wondering what size needle and what type of yarn you used for the completed scarf that you showed as an example at 5:30?? (Not the yarn and needles you used to demonstrate). Thank you!

  • How can i get the rib to go width wise instead of length wise? anyone know ?:)

  • @MsCamiSunshine You will have to knit and purl in rows instead of alternating between the two along one row. Ie, knit 1 row, then purl 1 row, then knit another row, and so on and so forth.

  • Does your scarf begin to curl inwards if you use this method? I tried knitting 1x1 before, and I ended up with something that was too curled in! :(

  • Thank you so much for this tutorial video, it has helped me loads, I'm knitting a scarf for my boyfriend. I was struggling to understand it from others but you did a fantastic job! It's lovely yet simple pattern, unisex too.

  • it is so cool it looks very simple

  • What Cast On Did You Use..??

  • I cant THANK YOU enough!! I have been using other videos to learn about the rib stitch and I have been doing it very very wrong. Thank you for clarifying to purl on a purl (the loop) and to knit on a knit (vertical line.) I thought if I ended the row on a knit that I had to knit the first stitches of the next row...Now I understand perfectly!!

  • I just recently started knitting. You helped me alot. Recommending this clip to alot of people.

  • @flowdesignstudio I watched at least 4 other videos before finding that yours explained this stitch the best. It was your advice to knit the knit and purl the purl that really helped me get this. Thank you!

  • @jiyoungeeeee wow what ru a spokes person

  • I was wondering what size needles you used? Thanks :)

  • I think I used a size 13. It was the needle size that was recommended for the yarn. I used the Lion Brand Wool-Ease Thick and Quick yarn for this scarf.

  • Love your video and your calm style. Could you PLEASE do a tutorial using silk yarn and a size 7 needle? Thank you even if yo cant do it!!!!!!

  • I'll try to do one when I get some silk yarn. Thanks for watching.

  • How many yards did you use to make the scarf with this yarn?

  • I used one and a half balls of the Lion Brand Thick and Quick yarns for this scarf.

  • I agree. Your video is completely beginner friendly. Thank you.

  • You're welcome. Thanks for watching!

  • OMG. Thank you!! I'm a brand new knitter, and I have been driving myself completely insane trying to do this. This is the best tutorial I've found.
