  • Before islamization Turks had Tengrianism, that is most closed religion to Islam, cause Monotheism, before islamization and hereinafter yes some Turks was following tengrianism, like Tzhengizids and Uyghur Kaganate, before Ak Huns, Great Huns and Gok Tyurks, yes they was Tengrianists, hereinafter they embrassed Islam cause more convenient, among those was: Golden Chorde, Timurid, Chagatai Khanate, Seljuks, Ghaznavids, Afsharids, Kara Koyunlu, Al Koyunlu, Bacharites - all was Turks Muslims.

  • Timurid Dynasty - Great Mughals was Turks from Central Asia (nowadays Kazakhs, Ozbeks, Kyrgyzs, Turkmens).

  • @MegaAmatullah i dont think most monguls where muslims but maybe i got time period wrong. If i remeber right though they had shamans and such but very tolerate of other relegions. LOL that reminds me of one of there weird rules- they were not allowed to spill royal blood. So when they found a king they would roll him up in a rug and trample him with horses till he died so not to spill his blood. I think i rather have my had cut off personally.

  • Is Ghandi related to these men?

  • @amitus8 No.

  • @786swe Ghandi was Indian, though. He was a man of peace, from what I have heard.

  • @amitus8 If you are talking about Mahatma Gandhi, yes he's a man of peace but not a passive idiot. if you really want to know about him, go to Norman Finklestein website. he has a speech about Gandhi.

  • @786swe I think he was in South Africa too.

  • @amitus8 Yes, he was in South Africa where he first got a taste of racism from the British.
