i do this all the time....go pressure wash your doors and seats and use the vacum at the car wash site to suck up the water...it worksgreat..just pick a hot day with windows open to dry outthe van seats ....it works serious! justdont tell em yourusing the vacum to suck water...they never find out...works like acarpet cleaner and its 1/10 the price...makes you van look sparkly....

Sleeping in the pop top is not so smart unless you are at a campground. If it looks like a camper then people will be suspicious and think you are sleeping in it. They will call the cops on you!! not very stealthy. Best to have it down. then less heat will escape during the winter and psychos can't slash the canvas and stab you in your sleep... har har har

I don't think its a good idea but you are the one who has been living in your van so long you probably have a better idea of what to expect.
