  • thanks for the video. a lot of great techniques for acquisition... now interpretation is another thing....

  • great!!!!!!

  • Thanks for the video mate. Cheers

  • looks like MILFcategory xD

  • I've watched this 4 times in a row. Why am I still concerned that on my next shift, I won't remember any of it?

  • this is the most helpful video of all ecg ones on here! Thanks for that and many thanks to the lady!

  • helpful

  • thank u this video was helpful

  • Thanks for the video.

-Signed, an EMT student who hopes not to piss off a Paramedic by not knowing how to attach a 12 lead.

  • My instructor said to use the back of the hand rather than the palm to move the breast. Now I don't know which is correct!!! It is neat that the woman agreed to go through with this.

  • @fierysuccubus ALWAYS use the back of the hand to move a breast. You will get one hell of a slap if you don't... especially if you are a male provider.

    - A fellow Paramedic

  • @KaosDude DITTO!! I can't believe they didn't use the back of the hand technique in this TRAINING video. That was the most inappropriate and unnecessary grappling I've ever scene by a medic.

  • @okieprepper i guess girl on girl is ok? i'll have to check the book on this one. haha

  • thank u! it was fun and helped me a lot! thank u!

  • This was really helpful, thanks

  • Thank you for the woman ECG, I had to do this and wasn't positive I'd done it correctly but noow I know I did. Many thanks indeed. Thanks to the lady herself by the way, I appreciate her doing this.

  • tities!!!

  • I appreciate seeing this done on a female patient. Thank you for taking this consideration.

  • the lady agreed too since they can't show this without her consent

  • if your a health professional you wouldn't look at seeing breasts as all that abnormal you know you all act like you haven't seen breasts your whole life

  • excellent

  • if they really need an ekg done the should not care about being exposed

  • @scookmustang32

Usually this is the case, but there are a lot of patients that don't think they are sick and are often more concerned about their own modesty.

  • Yeah, I agree with "medic5321"'s comments. when I saw her palm the breast and touch the nipple, I was like WTF?! Unprofessional.

  • @M1LifeSavers Oh boo hoo. They have a job to do. Stop complaining. They still got the job done.

  • Thank you, the text just does no explain it well.

  • This video and part 1 was very helpful in helping me re-learn where to place the electrodes for the ecg

  • thank you

  • thank you for this video! It was very helpful!

  • I agree with medic5321 they could use 2 towels on both sides of the breast and split in the middle and even with 2 towels use the back of your hand. If the patient is able tell then hold the covered breast.

  • I guess they don't do any kind of proper draping cause her breasts was everywhere and was manhandled

  • FAIL! Do not EVER "palm" the breast as the provider did in this video! Use the back of you hand. Extremely poor form to show this in a training video.

  • Should you ever really encourage a cardiac patient to hold their breath?

We have a "pop quiz" over ecg placement tomorrow. Videos like this really help by providing another source for the information.

  • it's pretty hard to place the lade at a woman..

sometimes we (male) got nervous when placing the lead.. =P

  • be professional about it buddy but ur right

  • I'm not so sure I agree about stopping the ambulance to acquire the ECG seeing as time is of the essence..

  • he did say to consider it, not to necessarily do it. Depends on the situation and how the patient is

  • Surprise! Patient was in V-fib for 5 minutes, good thing you saved 20 seconds by not stopping.

  • very Helpful, thanks, Tim!

  • wonderful..

  • nice nice to learn ecg not just for exam instead for your life

  • nice nice to learn ecg not just for exam instead for your life

  • nice nice to learn ecg not just for exam instead for your life

  • This is a wonderful educational tool!

  • There are a log of studies that suggest that on women with large pendulous breasts that the leads should be placed at the correct landmark point on the breast tissue rather than under the breast. This video helps ilustrate that, when placed under the breast, you can easily end up at the 6th or even the 7th intercostal space, which could show anomalies on the EKG reading when there are none

  • does the adipose tissue interfere with the readout? It seems that it might...

  • great !!!! tnx !!!

  • Tnx! Helped me a lot understand about ECGs
