@tJ0N3S hehe, no not at all :) i get asked that a lot cuz the teeth right next to my 2 front teeth are sharp ;) i don't have the incisors that are supposed to be in between the front teeth and the "fangs" :T it happened when i was younger and when both came out as a kid, only one grew back in, the other didn't .. it's genetic, my dad doesn't have them either :) i had the gap closed when i got braces, so it worked out ;) plus i have a small mouth, my ortho said i wouldn't have had room anyway lol

@LoveBLENDnBeauty Yeah, that same thing happened to my brother except when he had braces, they purposely left the gaps there and now he has to wear a flipper. My mom doesn't have them either except her teeth closed in. I got lucky :) Definitely doesn't take away from your beauty though. I was just being nosy hehe

Hi!! I have oily skin, but whenever I use products for oily skin it gets flaky and dry (and oily like 30 min after :S). Do you know a good tinted moisturizer that could work for me? Thanks!

@inesxana uhm, honestly i'm not sure .. i've never heard of anyone with oily skin that gets flaky and dry .. it's one or the other: OILY or DRY. it can't be both. you can have COMBO skin, which means you're dry or normal in some areas and then oily in others (mostly your T-Zone) ... I haven't tried many Tinted moisturizers, but my favorites are Sonia Kashuk and Neutrogena as well as Laura Mercier and MAC. Other than that, i usually make my own ..

@LoveBLENDnBeauty well aparently it can be oily and dry at the same time, because being oily doens't mean it has enough moisture as well, so when you use products for oily skin, wich usually are pretty agressive, it flakes. How do you make it, just by mixing foundation and moisturizer?

@inesxana No, i know that, i know that being oily doesn't mean you have "moisture" -- oil and hydration are 2 totally different things. I was just saying that i've never heard of that condition before so it's different for me. I wouldn't say that you have "dry" skin though, but i understand when you say "flaky". If anything, i'd suggest an oil-free moisturizer for the dry skin, but it will also help control the OIL seeping through your pores.

@inesxana However, your skin could be "oily" because of dry skin, as opposed to the other way around (dry skin from using products to help with oily skin and the products being too aggressive) because the way your skin works is it will produce more oil to compensate for dryness. That's just another separate theory though.

Either way, since i'm not sure what's causing your skin to be oily and dry at the same time, i can't really suggest what will work for you, unfortunately. :( I'm sorry ..

@LoveBLENDnBeauty It's always been like that, and the dermathologist never cared much about it so I don't either :P I've tryed drinking loads of water (a lot of time spent in the toilet) and the use of products for sensitive skin (tons of acne lol). It just makes it a little bit harder to find the right products. But thanks anyway

@inesxana but when i make my Tinted Moisturizers, yes, that's what i do: mix foundation with moisturizer .. preferably a moisturizer that's oil-free and has a bit of an illuminating factor to it (like MAC's Strobe Lotion for example). :)

rachel do you think it's safe to use hand sanitizer to wipe down your face (of course avoiding the eye area)... cuz I tend to put my hands on my face and i notice it tends to have little bumps develop later on =( I do use hand sanitizer when i get a chance to clean my hands though.

@devalish1 hey i'm not rachel but nooooo don't use hand sanitizer on your face! most of them contain alcohol which can severely dry your skin. They probably also have other ingredients that aren't meant for the face area. I mean, you wouldn't use a foot cream on your face right? It's meant for feet. Just use it on your hands. =)

@devalish1 never use antibacteria on your face or body. most people dont believe it but antibacterial products are actually bad for you unless you work in healthcare in a hospital because it kills and destroys the good bacteria that keeps you healthy. regular soap and water gets rid of all the nasty germs and bacteria. the best thing you can do is just wash your hands with regular soap if you touch your face a lot.

@devalish1 NO! it's called HAND SANITIZER for a reason babygirl! :) only use it on your HANDS! .. but that's why your face has bumps, cuz you're touching your face with unclean hands. :) so just keep your hands as clean as you can and as often as you can .. :)

I never blended my e/s, nor match the right colorrs together, i actually learned by watching Aubrey's channel, thank god i didn't cause my e/s used to look a hot mess. I also had a hard time with foundation after almost two years so i never used it, but now i do, i use revlon's colorstay in carmel. lastly i didn't know brushes were better then the sponge tips

yeah I am the same shade as you and I am mixed with black and white, and I always get matched wrong always....I have foundation from estee lauder,makeup forever, lancome, mac, bare minerals matte and revlon....to be honest the foundation that matches me the best is the revlon colorstay but I hate the finish of it....I am really hard to match and alot of foundations break me out...sucks!!!!
