  • 'accidental death' - err I heard he hanged himself 4 years later?

  • I went to high school with Jerrold. He never had an ounce of violence or agression towards anyone. He was one of the coolest dudes I know. He loved to hang around with the Asian crowd, preferbly Filipinos.

  • Ha!! He died of an accidental death, no God don't like ugly. Things always have a way of working themselves out.

  • Yea rite he thought that he had a gun in the curb somewhere. , bullshit!! Thats why I dnt like "Asian cops or White cops"!! I never had problems with a black officer or Hispanic officer ever!

  • It's gonna keep going on black people as long as y'all stay in this sick white country,

I'm moving over to Ghana next year 2011! to stay I'm not ever coming back to this sick country again good by America hello! Accra! Ghana!

  • @keithdcobbin1 And I'm headed to Osogbo, Nigeria! This place is wicked.

  • @Hervinbalfour

I do understand my friend, next year 2011 me and my new friend Peter Leung are flying over to Accra, Ghana to film movies I hope and pray Accra is the place for me to live in peace, I'll be in and out of the states to visit my people.

    Keith

  • "The Citizen said he believed the officer had a gun.. Thats why he shot the PIG!" Unquote

  • BART! Stop it now b4 homer strangles you! lmao

  • The Police officer involved in the Hall shooting, Fred Crabtree was found hanging by his neck from a beam in his house dressed in "erotic clothing". He had "accidentally" killed himself performing autoerotic asphyxiation masturbation.

One can only hop Karma was at work.

  • Maybe the FBI was behind his death. Who knows.

  • If she joins the police, then she is counted as a partner/ Regardless if you agree with what is going on or not. Remember, they protect there own even if they are wrong

  • This makes me sick!!!!What makes me more sick is that our ppl sit around and dont do s*** about it.

  • So join the police and do something.

  • Karma...

  • Just remember, cops are not on anyone's side. They constantly seek out trouble and have lethal weapons and the law on their side. We need them, especially as the crime rate increases. But they are people too and they have fears, hatreds, and corruption just like all of us. If you think you can do a better job, go sign up.

  • Crime is at it's lowest today than it was 10 years ago.

This was murder nothing less than that and justice should be given to the families of both of the murdered men.

  • Can you do a better job?

  • Yeah I wouldn't shoot unarmed men in the back...

  • Fine. And that is a bad thing to do, but my only point is could you DO better. Not what could you NOT DO better.

This is not a popular place to say this, but we need cops. Cops are critical to our society. The problem is we say that, and we pay for their salaries, then when a cops pulls a stunt like this, we bash them ALL.

If you honestly think you can do a better job, don't tell us what you WON'T do, tell us what you WILL do. Then do it. Until then, we get what we get.

  • They are to protect and serve, and uphold the Constitution. If they are afraid of getting hurt, they are in the wrong profession. Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutly.

  • You are absolutely correct! I couldn't agree with you more. Brilliant.

  • Plagiarize much?

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." - Baron Acton

Mehserle accidently shot Grant. No matter what you want to believe because most of you hate cops, you know deep down it was an accident. Mehserle was an expectant father, military veteran, and a young man. Why do you people want to think he made a decision to execute Grant infront of all these people with all of these cameras?

  • Please DO NOT Mention the mititary in this matter. This was an OUT RIGHT EXCECUTION.. This "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER" KILLED THAT KID TO QUENCH HIS OWN BLOOD THIRST.. If he had done that in the Army, he may have gotten the death penanity, but DEFINITELY LIFE IN FEDERAL PRISON. HE WAS WRONG....

  • Why shouldn't I mention the military in this matter. He is a veteran with an honorable discharge.

Also commonman80 I would like you to tell me how he was quenching his bloodthirst when every single video shows the shock on Mehserles face after discharging his sidearm.

Of course he was wrong. But accidents do not equate and shall never equate to murder.

  • 5 Things You Can Do Right Now About the Oscar Grant Shooting

Contact BART Director Carole Ward Allen and demand that 1) the officers involved be taken off duty without pay and charged and fully prosecuted; 2) there be an independent investigation of the shooting that includes a review of training and hiring practices; and 3) BART establish an independent residents review board for the police Call her at 510-464-6095. The rest of the actions are located at RaceWire DOTTT ORGGG Search "5 Things"

  • the cop suffered a accidental death in the old case ,lol ,good very very good!!

  • "attacked the officer" that's bullshit.

  • Whats a BART officer?

  • Bart is a Subway transportation in the Bay area in

    Sabfrancisco

  • thanks

  • bay area rapid transit....kinda like a port authority or subway officer

  • thank you

  • Fred Crabtree is the stupid cop that killed this kid.

Freddy Crabtree hung himself in 1996, because he couldn't live with himself for what he did.

Moral, of the story? Live in pain Johannes!!

  • Use of lethal force justified?!?! We used to hang men that shot unarmed children in the back. The need for oversight on these investigations is a gross understatement.

  • FUCK THE POLICE!!!

  • Accidental Death? Hmm...

  • pigs

  • This is a damn shame!

  • Now my Question is why did not anyone citizen ARREST the officer whom murdered the guy? If I was there, I would have pulled out my gun, pointed it at the officers head, and told him to FREEZE, and that he was under arrest, and if you moved one fucking inch I would have shot him.

  • The bottom line is you gave up a LONG time ago your right to resist an UNLAWFUL arrest. Years ago you could resist, but if wrong the penarty was much harsher. But if correct the Officers would face charges!

That is why 100 years ago, you would never hear about police running around murdering kids, and beating up any one whom questioned them.

  • You need to read up on your history. I think you're woefully misinformed if you truly believe that, particularly your last statement.

  • Everyone's unarmed at michaelmooredotcom hahahaha

  • Bay Area rapid Transit

  • what does BART mean???

  • may have been a city

  • Bay Area Rapid Transit

  • kk Thanx =)

  • With all due respect to everybody, the police are not corrupt, it is a few bad apples that make the whole barrel look bad, and they make it look even worse when they protect those few bad apples, but that is not a reason to say they are all corrupt.

There are a lot of good cops out there that do their job like they are supposed to, or even better.

With that said, I respect their job, but I do not respect those that abuse their job.

  • Man you need to get head out of ass take a look around you. Cops are not here to protect and serve there here to keep order. they even wont let the people protest. they tell them they need a permit. where dose it say in the first amendment you need a permit to protest. the justice system is corrupt pretending its not is not gonna help Mr Grant.

  • I agree with you! the Justice system and our politicians are corrupt! that has nothing to do with police officers committing police brutality!

Police officers can't make laws, they just follow them, and if your politicians and the justice system keeps allowing them to commit police brutality, they will keep on doing that.

If judges and politicians were more strict with the cops, do you think there would be this much police brutality?

the politicians are the ones that are failing all of us.

  • you are quite ignorant about police brutality aren't you?

  • you mean me and my dad getting stopped by a pair of cops and thrown to the ground cause they thought we were a pair of bank robbers when we had just pulled into a bank parking lot, wasn't police brutality?? oh no!! lol

yet I still believe most police officers do their job like they are supposed to.

the bank owner came out and rectified the misunderstanding, the police chief of the city apologized for it, even though those two cops never did.

  • The Police are Corrupt, Racist and Cowards.

anybody who defend the police just as bad as them. in one of there police textbooks they say people of color who have high cheek bones and canine teeth are born criminals. If that dont sound like some racist bullshit. Fuck the police and there racist agenda.

  • You always get what you pay for, low taxes equals low budget equals bad service. It's the way the world works.

Also there is one thing, the us can learn from Europe. Advanced-Social-Profiling. Bullies shouldn't be allowed to become cops.

  • WKaliber1, many are real heroes, many are not. So many true hero police, thousands, are now dying because of what they inhaled during 9/11. The police Departments across the nation must be overhauled. The major majority of the first responders will agree with this statement.

BTW do you kiss your mother with that mouth?

  • The criminals are the police. The Police Dept hires the bottom of the barrel just because they show up for the job.

According to the movie/documentary, "Cocaine Cowboys," the police dept. in Miami took out an ad to hire which said must have a clear record for the last 3 years, no one showed up. The Dept. lowered it to two years, still nothing.

The last ad said they had to clean for one year and that's when many new officers were finally recruited.

  • When I was very young there was always the same cop on the beat in the neighborhood. Everybody new him and he knew everybody. The cop that walks the beat in neighborhoods was highlighted in, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn."

We need to go back to what worked. The cop on the beat, who was part of the community, was true homeland security.

The police today are out of control and are getting away with murder. It is not just a black and white issue. Something must be done fast.

  • its not like that everywhere, i know your not saying that it is, but anyway i know in most of new england there are long 2 year waiting lists even to be accepted into the police academy and way to many applicants.

  • woah this was in response to what OneoftheImmortals said about "Cocaine Cowboys" now it looks like its about police brutality but its not.

  • Thank you Michael Moore for spreading this story! It needs to go viral and we need a nationwide protest to change whats going on with our police!

  • just think about all the things they lied about and got away w before video.

  • The execution style shooting of Oscar Grant looks so much like the shooting of the innocent Jews/minorities in WW2 movies like Schindler's List (which were based on facts.)

  • Yes, let's randomly invoke world war 2 that always works.

  • Hid a gun somewhere on the parking lot? He stole a Walkman and hid a gun in case shit got hot...

The bullshit these fascists come up with is ridiculous.

  • the root problem is the supremacy of money, land possesion, ideology, and even civil order over human life and that is what must end
