Funny story befitting this video since this was their first hit, Apple records turned down Queen for signing onto their label. I listen to this song now and wonder "How the fuck could you possibly pass up this much talent?" and Queen only got better from here on.
@MrJusticeDispenser07 Just remember that Decca Records bypassed both The Beatles and The Who by saying guitar bands were a passing fancy. Oops. Your argument is very valid.
This song was rejected from the charts so many times. . . I'm glad it was never forgotten! Queen will live on in history forever!!! Never forgotten-even in a million years! I will tell my kids, and my kids will tell they're kids- and it will just go on forever and ever until the world comes to an end. But never will we ever loose memories of the best rock band in the world! QUEEN WILL LIVE ON FOREVER!
Thanks for posting this. I often have to go one or two videos below the first one which has a commercial and runs the total enjoyment of a continues play playlist. My rock 'n roll sensibilities appreciate.
Freddie Mercury.Brian May..Roget Taylor.John Deacon..you lived up to your name..Queen. Freddie chose this name in part cause it was regal..powerful..something absolute..this is Queen.4 men each a musical genius..masters of their craft. I consider myself fortunate.to have seen them live 3 times..they were amazing.from the first cord..to the first note of Freddie's..clear. perfect voice..you were taken on a musical journey..love this song..Greatest debut album..EVER!.. still play mine often!
Haven't listened to Queen in awhile. I missed my boys! Freddie, Brian, Deaky, Roger... love em' all to bits. I wish we still had Freddie around, his voice would do the world some good.
my uncle willy played this song on napster when we were just hanging around lookin up songs... then we went to the movies fun night!!! This is one of the more unique great rock songs unforgettable and awesome
I'm a soulie and rock'n'roll ain't really my cup of tea...however, if I really have to listen to some, I'd rather listen to queen than any of today's crap metal or rock...
great beginning to my favorite band's repitoire, love the beginning riff

A band is good when most of their songs are pleasant to listen to.
A band is great when almost all their songs are awesome to listen to.
A band is LEGENDARY when the band literally never wrote a bad song, and continues to amaze and inspire people 50 years later. LONG LIVE QUEEN!!!

@H2SO4xSY 50 years? I'm not even THAT old, The Who are older then Queen far as I know, on par with the Stones, maybe?
