i would atleast give her credit for hugging thousands of people, have you ever tried it ? try it. its not easy....to hug everybody. one can only do it i think if the know our real nature.

she knows who we are, and thus has the ability to be friendly....i see even that as a big thing....

thank you so much for the posting!I lost my biological mother in very early childhood.I was deeply pained when i saw my friends getting love and attention from their mothers during lunch at school. always wondered if there was anyone who would love me as my their own.When i saw amma and when she hugged me with her love,i realised how our innocent prayers are answered.And finally the Divine mother incarnated to heal those with aching hearts. feel her, near her,open yourself , She will heal u!

For all the hate filled speech of Captain, I have only one comment - please enlighten us on what your solution to the world's problem is ? On Worship - Shakti God incarnates and walks amongst us when we forget how to love the infinite and mysterious. It becomes a superficial act of prayer and a relationship of fear. then we see the coming down of a messiah or Avataar to show us the path. Same for Gautam Buddha & lord Christ. U people hate everything - learn to love n lighten up !

if God is what God does...then Amma certainly is. She has no family of her own, has started hospitals, relief projetcs and educational institutions. Recently there were floods in Bengal and Bihar, 1.8 million - poorest of the poor were displaced. the Indian Politico paid lip service, amma sent her emmissaries with food and medicines to thousands !!! Don't we need more such selfless cults ?
