This video is incorrect. You do NOT, ever, under negation expression, use brackets when breaking the terms up. example, if F(a,b,c) = (A + B' * C)' and you extend DeMorgan and do all 3 terms at once you end up with A'B+C'
Now, let's break the + in F(a,b,c)=(A+B' * C)' expression first; A' * (B' * C)'
Now see what happens if I break the right side and keep brackets, A' * (B+C') which results in A'B+A'C' which is NOT equal to correct answer of A'B+C'. Don't use brackets there.
yo great explinations but in uk we have differant symbols for that comma thing you use and also theres some other method for de morgans which im kinda stuck on, but many people still understand ur vid so it obv make sense lol im jus tryin to look for a "british" method lool
@apakiboi notation for a lot of mathematical concepts vary from school to school which can make it hard to find help on the internet for it. I found this especially true in my last year of my degree. The internet became almost useless.
great video, I m in my first semester of EECT101 and EECT112 and following pretty good till we got to this part. Your video has definately made it alot clearer but I have this 1 ? that I dont understand and it is as stated. List all possibilities using De Morgans theorem? Any help would be much appreciated!
i have just one question: are those last sets of parentheses necessary? for this particular result they are not; evaluation with parentheses and without parentheses is the same for this particular result.
This stuff is very very easy!! Do some Differential Equations or explain vector angles, smarty:) Just kidding dude:) Nice to see some try to help others.
Dont know if its right but I think your second example is wrong. Im pretty sure its ABC all not not seperate nots. LAW 13 break the line change the sign
Thank you so much!! It's really helpful!! :)

a.b.c + a.b.c = a.b how to prove this ?
krishkishore100 9 months ago
@krishkishore100 you can't prove it, it's not true. Make a truth table and you'll find both sides don't equate.
