Hi I have this camera, and love the quality, but since I am rather new to video recording, I didn't realize the format would be m2ts and would need to be converted. May I ask you what software you use to convert?
I use iMovie '09 on the Mac to do my importing, which converts them to .mov files. Not sure how to do that on the PC (although I know you can edit with the included Pixela ImageMixer and play back m2ts files with VLC (just Google that).
For conversion, I would punch "convert m2ts" into Google and see what comes up. Let me know if you find something that works out for you.
