I cannot say how much I love the Southeast Asian food. I live in Miami, Florida, USA and there are not so many Viet, Lao, Thai, restaurants. I've never had Cambodian food, but I would love to try it (except for the tarantulas). I love the Thai, but also the Vietnamese food. I would like to go to Bangkok or HCM City and go walking through the city from restaurant to restaurant. I LOVE the food AND the people!

@vietcongak I'm a westerner and I don't see what's wrong with this (the head I wouldn't eat personally). Rats seem weird (in the related videos) but by all means, eat whatever you want.

My father went to china and he ate like every day on wich he stayed there from a street food place, and than when he was about to leave china he was soooo ill that went to hospital and than he discovered that the street food he was eating was some mouses from the abondoded factory across the street.

@3rdIDCallaghan Dude, horse isn't french food. They eat snails and foie gras :P I'm dutch and we have these saugages (i never eat junkfood though, only bio food) But the original recipe is with horse meat. And pigs blood, its not just english. You can order it anywhere. And its reaallyy good!

Well I have been to France many times and horsemeat is easily available; I have no idea why fois gras is considered a delicacy and whoever was the first to look at a snail and think, 'That looks delicious, I must eat that' must have been very, very desperate. At least they know how to cook, although the divide between quality internationally has been shrinking rapidly (when it comes to major cities at least) even in my limited experience, the old food stereotypes no longer mean very much.

Hello All! I am the one who shot this video and, in the light of a few comments below, I can say with all certainty that, for me, Vietnamese cuisine is the most delicious in the world. Thai, Lao and Cambodia are almost as good...

Place your prejudice aside, buy a ticket and enjoy one of the best countries to travel around in the world.

I Totally agreed.

From experience, of all the Asian countries(even non-Asian).... I gotta say that South East Asian dishes are the best.

#1. Vietnamese dishes - taste, texture, and addicting flavors.

#2. Chinese dishes - Simple, texture, and flavors that cater to everyone.

#3. Thai dishes - hot, spicy, sour, sweet, salty and bitter.

#4. Indonesia dishes - Baliniese roast pork...says it all.

#5. Japanese dishes - flavors, style and cater to select group.
