man i just buy 1 for only 20euro on ebay. didn't expect an awesome keyboard. definitely my favorite one. I had a lycosa for a few years but the tarantula is a LOT BETTER! trust me.(the lycosa looks cheaper not really a gaming keypoard like the tarantula, the typing is a lot better too + Anti ghosting) Well to my mind tarantula is the best keyboard so happy with it^^

Ive had this keyboard for 6 years now. Some of the buttons are finally getting to the point here u gotta punch them to work. I REALLY hate having to replace it cuz in my opinion the best keyboard compared to what ive seen out.

sadly i cant find any suppliers for a new one. :(

what my tarantula has been through:

10+ characters to lvl 99 on hardcore dialbo 2 online (30+ lvl 70-99

6 lvl 85 characters on WoW (4 lvl 70-80

5 lvl 50 characters on rift (16 lvl 30-50

got thousands of hours on it :P

@XxWolfpack247xX well this one when you type it's definitely no noise which is great comparing to Lycosa (awful). this is a mechanical keyboard actually it was one of the best back then. you can remove keys and there's also an anti ghosting..

I have used both the lycosa and the tarantula , i would greatly prefer the tarantula as you get the great tactile response that the lycosa does not have. Have changed 2 tarantula keyboard due to water leaking into the keyboard and failing , great keyboard overall : )

Only good thing for this keyboard is the iPod dock but I have 2 dock 1 for ipod 1 for iphone so that's make it useless. Better choise is Lacrossa or actrossa wich is the same only the lacrossa is more expensive with some led lights under the keys, that don't work very well.. So I switch to Logitech G11 and mb soon to G19

For example, the numbers up letters have fast reaction, but not the rest. It's an important think for such players

tested on dmc4 and x3

you can´t press certain combinations:

s + d + k (k blocked)

s + space + k (k blocked)

d + space + L (L blocked)

s + space + j (j blocked)

i think there are more though, but i haven´t figured out all yet

also by programming the keys on the arctosa/lycosa you will remove its orginal functionality for the time beeing, where tarantuala has seperated ones.

Yet, I'm a hardcore PC user, i know where all the keys are, and never had or used a illuminated keyboard. If you wanna sit in the dark and not seeing shit while playing (because there's no back light), take tarantula.

If you want blue back light, flat keys and you don't additional macro buttons, take the Lycosa.

In some ways, yes. In others, no. G15 and G19 can use the small display as a pretty gadget or useful and indispensible gaming assist. I have a tarrantula because of the faster response, better membrane keys and slightly tougher construction.
