320 GB iomega eGo Helium Portable Hard Drive

Piece of crap. Dropped dead on me. PC knows it's connected but can't see it in Explorer on 4 different computers. Last Iomega product I'll ever buy.

Anyone know how to reformat this thing? There is no information on the manual as to how to do this and I am certainly NOT paying $25 bucks just to call and ask about it. Thanks

I brought the iomega ego Mac edition with FireWire 800 ( 55gb backup tuck 51 min ) awesome review tho

hi, im sorry you're experiencing dificulties, but on my end, the device, as soon as i plug it in, my computer recognizes the device and once i start to trance files of any sort a pop up window lest me know how many megabites or gigs are being tranfered pr second and how long its going to take, as well as bar showing the visual progress. im on a macbook BTW.

how would u rate the transfer speed when copying movies or video files onto it?

its supper fast, i said in the video. i downloaded 2000 song in less than 15 mins into it.

well i have owned this one for like 6 months and still no signs of trouble at all. works great, like new. just remember that its a portable hard drive, go easy on it with the loads. i still put everything in it, lol and it works wonders, lol oh and subscribe i'll be doing more videos soon.

Awesome video man. I have been trying to see the actual size of these things for about 2 weeks. Living in mexico. You have to order things sight unseen. This was the perfect way for me to see this thing up close. Putting in the order as soon as i finish this comment. But, I am going for the 500 GB.
