Ya know... I don't think that hope is lost at all. look at sonic. Don't you sometimes say that you wish sonic would change his gameplay at times?? that is exactly what they did with rayman. they just wanted to change the gameplay. Besides.. rayman origins is slowly coming around the hurizon and ubisoft actually sacrifised their time to get a spot for rayman on the 3DS. So don't just say rayman is dead. It just takes time. Ubisoft hasn't left Rayman behind completely. Actually when they made Rayman 3 they had a spoiler in there for Rayman 4. It's near the beginning when you go to the witch doctor. And while they haven't delivered it yet they are edging closer towards their roots with a new game called Rayman: Origins. Maybe they'll bring Rayman back after all.

@MileyIsASlut545654 I think you are of a later "generation" then, because Rayman 2 was a pioneer in gaming. 3D was very new back then and Rayman 2 was the best 3D game when it was first released. Rayman 3 was fun, but didn't top part 2.

Then i got rayman 3 : hoodlum havoc. It was a little bit different but still cool and amazing. I loved the final battle and i still remember how to stages underground creeped the hell out of my ( the one with those weird monsters, i forgot the name) and i loved the cutscenes with the guys that tryed to get the dark lum out of globox belly :D.

you are right, they must make a rayman 4. RRR is just some minigames. rayman gives back so good memories to my. I remember the first i got rayman 2 : the great escape. I loved that game and i was playin every day to get all lums and i even found the secret 1000th lum, that razorbeard ate in one of the cutscene.

This is why I'm glad I was born in 1996. We got decent games back in that era (N64,PSX,Gamecube,PS2 ect) and now half of the developers don't know how to make games like they used to. In 20 years from now, we're not going to remember the current Crash or Spyro games. We'll probably remember the REAL stuff, like those original Raymans.

Rayman 2 was the first video game I ever played, and even my dad, who hated violence, liked it. The same with Rayman 3. Then came Rayman Raving Rabbids and I thought it was a joke. These Rabbids don't deserve to be in games. They deserve to be in Room 101!
