The city of Wildwood needs to step in and stop all the attractions from becoming destroyed! It is only going to benefit them by protecting what they have before it gets torn down and less people come to walk the boards in the end.
i loved this ride . i remember the sign said HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS .thisand the HELLHOLE i never see nothing on the hellhole on youtube someone should look through there old vids try to find something please ooo well thanks 4 the memories MEL TOXIC lol
Wow i remember that part of the pirate ship. That was my favorite ride. I'm hoping someone can post the whole walk thru. It really was such a different more simplistic world back than !!
It makes me want to cry seeing this knowing that Bud Hunt made a terrible mistake in fall 1985 selling the pier to the jerks who wound up destroying half the rides in early 1989. And more rides came down 1995-1996 like the Keystone Kops and Whacky Shack (known as Hunt's Horror 1989-early 90's). The Log Flume came down 2001, it is at Arnold's Park, Iowa. Now, only the Golden Nugget Mine is left. All the men who helped build this great pier from 1957-60's are gone.
its sad what happened to the pier and its still not the same making half of it a go cart pier I miss Hunts Pier man been to every pier from 82 to 05 (last 3 years where cruises and cali just not the sameman but the cruises where nice)

The Golden Nugget is gone too, they took it down last summer, parts of it are in a museum
