  • You are right in that most parables that Jesus spoke were stories with theme or a message inserted eg. Matt 13:18-23 vv 24-30, Luke 6:46-49 just to quote a few. However in this parable Jesus uses a person's name, and in no other parable is that the case. It has been noted by scholars that all of Jesus parables were first spoken to the masses including Pharasees and Saducees, in a way that was veiled to them. Jeus then would have to explain to disciples the meaning of them, not in this case.

  • @Glenforbes60 Specific persons are mentioned in parables..Mark 4:15 mentions Satan.. Matt. 13:37

mentions The Son of man ..etc..Yet you don't take those literally..just the moral lessons therein.Where did Jesus ever say that if a specific person is named that a parable is suddenly literal? If you DO take it literally, you will meet with many an absurdity. If it sounds like a parable in a SERIES of them,it probably is.And yet again,to take one literally would be wrong.

  • First of all you are right in that most parables that Jesus spoke were stories with theme or a message inserted eg. Matt 13:18-23 vv 24-30, Luke 6:46-49 just to quote a few.

  • This seems to be anihalism. in other words. In Luke ch.16:19-31 Jesus tells the parable of Lazarus and the rich man. Explain how this is not eternal punishment? The point that seems to be obvious to readers, is that there is a giant chasm, that seperates the righteous from the evil (read for context) meaning that to be seperated from the Creator WHO is good or the light, from evil and darkness which cannot be personified because anything without God is Hell

  • @Glenforbes60 Do you take all parables literally? There are some differing views on precisely what the parable means presented by others on my "hell is a lie" playlist you could check out.Suffice to say, parables teach moral lessons, not anything literal.

  • Amazing, there are about 8 scriputers that are used to prove eternal torment by the majority of the church. There are about 12 for the doctrine of destruction (Annihilation) that is used by the minority of the church, but what is good is that there are at least 70 scriptures that says our Father will save all His creation, and only The Remnant of the ecclesia know this truth. The Majority of the majority not only believe that their lost siblings will suffer in eternal torment, the endorse it too

  • howdytheresir thank you for posting this!!!! Much needed for Christians that have strayed with their daily routines and neglected their bibles.

  • @stevehauk yw.I have a playlist called hell is a lie where there are several videos where Ed Fudge discusses hell. You might enjoy them.

  • @howdytheresir TY... keep up the good work!!

  • This is a needed series. Most of Christiandom has so long strayed from the correct doctrines that when someone like Fudge presents the truth he gets castigated as unorthodox or even labled cultic.

  • @DrStevenz amen bro

  • Look what you did, Kellie...now I've come to believe that the soul dies with the flesh. =/

  • Haha..Really?!Wish the truth would have that effect on everyone :-)

  • Yeah, I feel like a worm now. =/

  • Noooo you shouldn't!..just thank God you know now that souls can die.If you have any more questions about it,I'm here for you.

  • I'm pretty sure I might, but I still feel like a worm on this earth. I'm scared of dying now. =/

  • And we should all have that fear!As opposed to the fear of eternal conscious torment.Eternal destruction for body and soul is very real.Just keep exercising faith Yuri. You're a good servant.

  • nice video, great. hell is not true for many reason. whoever teach that hell exist doesn't know god. becouse god is love

  • I'm reading it now.:-)..btw,I enjoyed that mail you shared with friends earlier..the video.Thanks.

  • OK, so in Matt 10:28 with reference to the righteous, the body dies but the soul lives on right? But in reference to the un-righteous the body and the soul both die? It can't be both ways can it? Either the soul is the body, or it's separate from the body, which is it? If the soul dies at death along with the body, what survives to be tormented? Doesn't the belief that you and the author hold require stretching the Bible text a little bit?

  • We must have breath and the force of life in order for our bodies to animate. That is described in scripture as our spirit,or our soul. But that doesn't exclude ANOTHER meaning of soul..the entire person. You can determine which meaning by context.

  • Maybe I'm not understanding your questions, but you seem to be ignoring that the soul can be our entire person OR the life that animates the person, which can be utterly destroyed in the second death. There was hope to live again in the first death..not the second..that's why it's so tragic.

  • And nothing has to survive the body to be tormented. The wicked will suffer a penal punishment then be destroyed..as demonstrated on Christ, who God demonstrated his wrath against sin completely upon.

  • The bible doesn't have an ounce of truth in it.
