NDP Convention 2009: Banned delegate Dana Larsen speaks out!

The NDP is bought and paid for by the trade unions. They can pay for and fill buses full of their delegates, yet they a threatened by Dana.LOL What a joke they are. Unions are continuing to destroy Canada. No one has the right to tell their employer how to run their business, they can leave and start their own. So what happens, the companies unbolt their machines and leave. Just like Wolverine Tube did in BC, with the union idiots trying to stop the machines from leaving. LOL

He bought votes. The dude dropped acid and drove around. The publicity he is generation is tarnishing our chances to make a progressive change for Canada.

He's a nice guy, I met him and his supporters. I would have voted for his resolution had I had the chance, but the leadership made the right decision by banning him. Regardless of how many people he brought to the convention, it's the principal.

Let us re-examine the most controversial of Dana's offers:

"If there's any Babblers who want to go but perhaps cannot afford it, please contact me. I am organizing transport and lodging for groups of delegates. All that I ask in return is your vote on an anti-prohibition resolution and perhaps one or two other issues, otherwise you can vote and do as you please."

Dana was not asking anyone to vote HIS way, JUST TO VOTE!!

We should fire all parties and members of parties and go with independants.

I would be ok with voting gor my local and federal rep as we already do. The differance is that we would vote for the PM also. Parties are ripping us off plain and simple.

There is no videos at all of Dana Larsen smoking meth, and I highly doubt he ever has. He also did not drop LSD, and then drive. He smoked cannabis, and then drove, to prove the point that driving while under the influence of Cannabis is not dangerous.

Please do not slander the names of others with no evidence to back your claims. Dana Larsen has fought long and hard for the legalization of cannabis, putting thousands of his own dollars and hours into the movement.

There is a profound difference between offering a no-strings-attached subsidy to ensure low-income people are able to participate in their party's democratic process, and offering a subsidy in exchange for voting a certain way. The latter is a bribe and erodes democracy. The former enhances democracy. Dana Larsen is a fool.
