Sega Dreamcast Rise & Fall Part 1 of 3

The overrated story about how the PS2 killed the Dreamcast is horse crap. The real reasons were because:

1 - Sega was big time in debt during that time.

2 - It's would be killer app, the Shenmue series had been turned a cold shoulder.

3 - No lockout chip to prevent free copies.

Despite having a DVD player, The PS2 didn't have online capability until the Playstation Network Adaptor came in late 2002. Also, the PS2 became notorious for Disc Read Error failures, which happened to my PS2.

@Cellmate412162 A dvd add-on like the xbox 360 hd dvd add-on might of helped a fuck load, and yes I know x32 sega cd but there consoles.
