  • "Brilliant"!

  • Awesome video. I have always loved this film and actually got to see a screening of it at the base of Devil's Tower several years ago with my best friend who is a filmaker and fellow CE3K fan.

  • i grew up with CE3T and i was obsessed with this movie..still am to a lesser degree and never tire of it to this day. This guy has done an incredible job here and i mean INCREDIBLE!.Brilliantly filmed and concieved. What a really enjoyable experience.Thank you sir!!

  • ha ha E.T a la fin tes fou ! XD

  • brilliant

  • I didn't remember Carl Withers being in the movie. Wish I could give this video more than one "Like". You Mr. Attia.... have a directors eye. Best video on YouTube.

  • @nerblebun Carl Weathers' scene is in the 1977 theatrical version. I just picked up the Blu Ray of this movie this week, and it has all three version of the movie on one disc (1977, 1980 Special Edition, and the Director's Cut.) I agree about Herve Attia: this guy deserves an award for finding these locations!

  • Very clever and interesting concept.

  • Mr. Attia, I envy you.

  • I saw this movie 15 years ago, and remember every line and scene. One of the best films and an excellent tribute!

  • Great filming! Very good job.

  • u are really talented

  • Outstanding! :D

  • thank you for posting this, very good.

  • Brilliant! Brilliant! Always wanted to follow those footsteps to Devil's Tower, being a hiking enthusiast as well as fan of this movie. Now that I'm an old guy, and living on the other side of the world, I think that opportunity has slipped by. However, after watching this video, I am totally satisfied. Feel just like I was there with you. Thanks!

  • You have to be the biggest fan of the movie to do this!!!! How did you get into that house at 3:15? Was any of the film actually shot in indiana?

  • Wow this is brilliant

  • LOL. @ 3: 50: Genius!

  • Vous êtes incroyable! Je vous remercie beaucoup. J'ai eu des frissons à regarder ça. C'est votre meilleur depuis Blade Runner.

You are incredible! Thank you so much. I got chills watching this. It's your best since Blade Runner.

  • THIS IS COOL!

  • Awsesome, just awesome. Well done

  • Carl Weathers @ 5:45

  • You should do the movie Aliens. That was filmed in a steel mill.

  • This is amazing! About 6 houses down from me! This is my favorite movie of all time, funny how life turns out, just moved here too.

  • This video is brilliant! Close Encounters has been my personal favorite since its release in 1977. Herve, I applaud you for your stunning film making skills and attention to every detail, which shows a great love and respect for the movies you profile. Devils Tower is as beautiful today as it was 35 years ago and I climbed the very same rocks only a few short years ago. Tremendous fun. RIP Francois.

  • another great job, HerveAttia. Do you have one of 'The Dead Pool'?

  • Another wonderful video. Quite honestly, DVD companies should be falling over themselves to hire you to provide 'Extra' content for their releases!

  • @Wyomingpianoman - I couldn't have said it better myself!

Herve, you do what I can only dream about - experiencing my favorite movies (and it's amazing how many of your favoirtes mirror mine) "in the flesh," so to speak. It is my fervent wish to travel to these places you have shown and experience them as well. And perhaps, just perhaps, to someday do as you do!

  • Be nice to see you do a movie for Spielberg's "Duel" (1972).

  • Inspirational stuff. Amazing to see how little these places have changed in so many years.
