I have the full set and willing to sell if you are interested. Sadly I don't have the room anymore and they sit in a plastic tub with other books in a closet. My Dad ordered me the first book for my birthday when I was a kid and I got one every 4- 6 weeks, coolest gift I got ; ) I actually have 2 of the Magical Justice Books. One was sent by accident and Time Life said to just keep it.

I bought the "Dragons" volume back in 2001. Now I want the rest! lol. Time Life really made extraordinary books back then. I have 6 from the "Time Frame" series.

When I look at them, they are STILL top quality, even at 25 years old+

I just won the entire 21 volume set on ebay!!!! I've been wanting these books since I first saw the commercial with the great Vincent Price back in 1985. Along with him and that creepy music,I was sufficiently scared into wanting them.It has taken me 25 years to find the entire set.I am absolutely stoked!

This commercial aptly sets the mood for the book series. While dealing with the fantastical, the series was intended for a more mature demographic, as most of the illustrations were disturbing and the stories contained mature subject matter such as father-daughter incest (Thyestes & Pelopia in "Tales of Terror").

Thanks for that! The one I am looking for is I think the first one from 1985 too - it is mostly just head shots of people (witches?) talking about the enchanted world. It scared the crap out of me as a child!
