  • Pizza Hut menus in Australia might be the same as ours in America.

  • This commerical wasn't aired until 1986 'cuz 1981 was a wrong year to broadcast this Pizza Hut ad that goes MMMMM, AAAAHH and OOOOOHHH!

  • Oh the days when you could eat at a Pizza Hut Resturant.. Those days are well gone.. All you can eat pizza and desert bar... They even had special Pizza Hut glasses too.. I remember the salad bar with the sneeze guard and the big arse tubs of chocolate and caramel sauce..

  • I loved the ginger bread with sprinkles - pizza hut pete i think was called. it was in a fish bowl where u pay. Also I think the taste has changed alot.

  • Way back when Australians wouldn't have known decent pizza from their ass crack.

  • "Look at that father drinking beer in front of his kids, YOU'RE A DISGRACE! YOU ALCOHOLIC BASTARD!" Says everyone in the 21st century with their bullshit PC crap!

  • thanks sheila! ya welkm LUV! LOL (im fuckn aussie by the way n love bein aussie

  • Omg I remember this lol

  • last time i went into a pizza hut resteraunt with this bitch i used to call a girlfriend in South Australia dont remember the year? lets say 1991 the pizza wasnt cooked properly as usual like eating raw pizza dough with some crap on top, i forced it down and had a couple of beers walked out to the car park to drink and drive, up youres policeman,my stomache started to rumble uncontrolably thats when i vomitted (power spewed)all of the pizza and beer every last morcel and drop. And there gone now?

  • Ahh the good old days. When Pizza Hut has restaurants in Australia. I wish I was in 1981 now.

  • Its the 2010s.. They needd too have a Time Machine to go back in the past.

  • @nightmuffin937 they do, but only to steal money from world governments.

  • lol shame pizza hut now is rubbish...

  • Liked- funny how pizza hut is kinda being an ass in saying "you're welcome!"

  • This commercial features two young Australian actors, Dieter Brummer and Sarah Lambert (Christina Milano from S1 of Heartbreak High)

  • @aussietv Who knew Dieter would grow up craving a different type of "oregano".

  • i prefer HUNGRY JACKS,aussies know what i mean ;)

  • was he drinking a beer?! And pizza hut dont have resturants anymore :-(

  • @bigbadbeast2007 They do in the the SE US and some still sell beer. They aren't as full of people as they used to be. I know when we go to the one here on the weekends there are normally three families in the entire restaurant. The drive thru and phones are busy though. Makes me wonder if folks are too busy or lazy on the weekends to actually come in and eat.

  • @bigbadbeast2007 They have, at least here at Cayman Islands. But now that you mention in Mexico all them became just kind of Domino's Pizza, just collect & delivery.

  • our pizza hut here in town used to be good till the new owners took it over now its crap

  • That pizza looks hella disgusting...

  • LOL I was at a Pizza Hut at Paw Paw, Michigan USA and they served beer there :)

  • This commercial shows people enjoying beer unlike in America where we just abuse it.

Gotta love pizza hut after I go to the beach and fuck up a couple of bra boy bitches I always go here to enjoy some victory slices.

  • i want a beer at pizza hut...

  • kangaroo pizza FTW

  • That's great. Nice White famlies enjoying pizza lol..

  • @usfdude well, considering at that time here in Australia in the 80's, our demographics were around 93% northern european it makes sense!

  • @usfdude - so what is it? We stand condemned for showing white family eating pizza, or black (West Indian) cricket fans being handed fried chicken? You guys read way too much into these ads sometimes.

  • 0:12 - 0:14

*MAN* ooooh thank you very much bitch, wanna fuck?

*GIRL* You're welcome, and Yes I'm horny, let's go to fuck.

*WIFE* WTF?? fuck you bitch I have children :'-(

  • Back in them days, Pizza Hut made GREAT pizzas ( & ads, too) .. in a genuine, legit quasi-restaurant style setting .. & they CARED about their product & their customer-service. NOT SO TODAY, sadly. Today .. it's all counter-style cheap-shot, cost-cut take-away low-quality crap only. Today, Pizza Hut pizzas taste like cardboard .. & the staff don't give a shit about customers. "Customers .. what the hell are THEY, man .. we look upon them merely as money exchangers .. from them .. to us ".

  • @colindominy totally agree.. and you don't have dine in, and the old all you can eat.. man i miss that shit.. i could eat so much pizza.. always annoyed me when they were slow and all you had left was the vegetarian pizza.. lol

  • @colindominy ....blame pizzas wars for shit pizzatoday , as the price goes down so does the quality.. thank god i got to enjoy them in the eightys when they were fresh !!!

  • Pizza Hut All you can eat, How I miss you ):

  • I remember the plastic table cloths, they even had candles on the tables, with Parmesan cheese shaker on all tables, and the highlight was eating the prawn cocktail that came with the thousand island dressing..and to top it off, the rock hard ginger cookie with the sprinkles... and yes when we order the family size it was hugeee!!

  • LOl at the dad sinking a beer! oh man I sooo miss those days!!!!!

  • The best one in adelaide used to be across from my school, now its a damn rays outdoors! These were seriously the best places ever, went to them every chance we could but then they all just disappeared, its so sad.

  • @PeteTheElit3 There's still one in marion. It's one of the only ones left.

  • I think the all you can eat menus lost too much money which is why most were closed, they still have one restaurant here in Toowoomba and 2 take away/home delivery stores.

  • I wonder what sort of beer the dad was drinking...

  • aussie chicks in the 80's were hot and inviting, just like pizza hut.

  • Yes - we were...

  • that is so true. when im 5 my parents brought me to a fancy restaurant and the waiters look at me like im a retard...... i still wish that pizza huts large piza is still that large

  • A lot of the restaurants pizza hutt's just had thugs that hung around their cars in the car park area. The home delivery service was a way people could avoid the shit. The only one I know of is on George St Sydney which is a real bad location for yobs and thugs etc

  • @godginrai1 I agree we used to get a lot of middle eastern types stealing pizzas from the self serve bar and buggering everyone else!

  • There were barely any in Adelaide as it was. I remember going to one of the restaurants once as a kid and it kicked ass. But yeah, they phased them all out -_-

  • My only ever non-alcohol non-sickness puke was after an AS-MUCH-AS-YOU-CAN-EAT night at Pizza Hut.

    The shame still lingers.

    [Cinema City-Perth-Western Australia, FYI]

  • hahahahaha

    *places consoling hand on shoulder

its ok mate, you are not alone, you are not alone, what you've done is perfectly natural and ok.

No one is judging you, well, maybe that guy over there, but most of us aren't judging you.

  • I think I must have caught dine-in pizza huts on their way out, I remember them when I was a kid in the late 90's but now they all seem to be gone.

  • Maybe where you live they don't have dine-in pizza huts. They do where I live and the places where I travel. Where do you live?

  • Melbourne, in Australia. Dominoes pretty much took over pizza hut's market here. =/

  • Same here, they all shut in Perth in 2001, when I was 10.

  • we actually have 2 dine in pizza huts still where i live. one is near fsu, so they get students, and one is on the otherside of town. there are a ton of delivery ones, though. but i do agree with another poster, a good mom and pop italian rest. has the best pizza.

  • theres only one dine in pizza hut in adelaide now :(

  • ahh sweet, beer served at the hut!

what kinda toppings do you aussies get? koala and cheese?

  • lol, you're funny.

  • A questin to australians. did they have chuckie cheese or show biz pizza in australia?

  • Nope, This and a place called Dominoes are 2 main pizza joints, Nothing beats a small homerun italian pizza place though, We stopped calling them bloody wogs around the late 80s early 90s, and started embracing culture

  • woops - see my comment up top...

  • I'm in chicago and lack of customer interest and the infusion of gangbangers got all the dine in pizza hut resturants closed down. Essentially pizza hut had to copy dominos which was never dine in

  • they have destroyed pizza hut into pasta hut!

  • i recently emailed pizza hut asking if there were plans to open any new dine in pizza huts in melbourne and they replied, not at this stage due to lack of customer demand, so if u really want to see new pizza hut restaurants open up the best place to start would be to got the pizza hut website and tell them

  • west australia is long over due for dine in huts....its been 13 years here... its the right priced restaurant food particualy in a recession

  • back when pizza hut pizzas actually tasted ok !

  • Dining in for Pizza hut?? Gosh the concept seems so alien these days

  • Was the dad drinking a beer?

  • Yes. They use to be licenced restraunts

  • Uh oh. The kids and Mum'll have to drag poor Dad home.

  • LOL

  • hahahahahaha, be funny if there was a second ad that shows about 20 empty beer glasses, then gropes the waitress, spews up the pizza and passes out on the carpet in the restaurant.

  • Haha!

It looks like he's about to cream his dacks at 0:17.

  • I really miss Pizza Hut in Australia here back then, when they had "eat in" and my family used to go... before they degenerated into "quick buck", poor service, delivery only, then got flattened by the new "big boys" Dominos. But when I was a kid, Pizza Hut DID taste pretty good and I have fond memories of kids parties there, too.

  • I agree! Bring back the gingerbread men hanging in the plastic ball above the cash register, the huge glasses of Pepsi, and the placemats with kids' activities that you could scribble all over! Ah, the memories... And so many of the distinctive Pizza Hut restaurant buildings are still there in the suburbs, either vacant or being used for some other purpose. What a shame!

  • Bang on the money filmfrontier.. :)

im in business and would seriously put a case across to start a modern yet homely dine in site..in west australia...and yes lets bring back to gingerbread man in the coloured ball hanging over the register salad bar and alikes...all good add on selling..

  • This is back when pizza actully tasted good!!!

  • ...Pizza Hut I meant...(damn youtube and not being able to delete comments).

  • lol yeah "Whoa dream big!"

and the "you're welcome" i dont remeber saying thankyou. the service at those eat in pizza huts was never that great

  • I like the slogan "It's going to be alright". Way to set the bar high!

  • @Supermercado lol was the ad made durinng an eboli outbreak or sth?

  • ...and shortly afterwards dad is driving home tipsy and stumbles in the house to beat his wife and kick the dog...

  • Times like this, I wish I lived in Australia.

  • @CornholioFan98 Unfortunately, Pizza Hut in Australia have shut down most of their restaurants and become a delivery only franchise. A shame, because I used to love going to the restaurants when I was a kid.

  • @dariowestern theres still a pizza hut restaraunt where i live :) although its full of dirty bogans all the time i sometimes go there for nostalgic reasons

  • @CornholioFan98 no you dont, Austrialia has a high risk of skin cancer :/

  • @CornholioFan98 we don't have any restaurants here anymore. mostly just deliveries

  • ...and Dad drinks coffee on the American version with the same family! Love it!!

  • I know...God forbid we acknowledge that sometimes adults drink beer! LOL

  • But did you notice the waitress really finds it funny how much he enjoys that beer!

  • Oops, I mean the wife.

  • @frrrrrunkis I know. As a family, we went to Pizza Hut in the 80s and early 90s and Dad always got a beer. Just like I usually do if I go to any restaurant these days (and not feeling like wine). He never "got on it". It was just a beer with a meal. Australia in the 80s... I miss those days!

  • Cheesy, as in what? The pizza or the ad?

  • both
