  • C'est tout simplement énorme !

Et à chaque fois ça me fait le même effet !

    J'adore...

C'est comme un coup d'fusil à pompe dans un yaourt...

  • King of the Gretsches. Undisputed.

  • @JoeStunner

Brad Shepik plays a gretch also.

  • I'm an atheist... but... straight in my pantheon !

  • A greater voice than Elvis...

    A greater guitar than Chuck...

WTF he must be one of the well known music artist !

  • well that was just ejaculatory.

  • whoa, cool an instrumental

  • I can't believe I missed em live....errgghhh

  • BS is the nuts.i've followed him since the 80's in stray cats. they styled the way play.

  • dude...he's pretty fuckin popular for a rockabilly guitar player...!!...probably the most popular of all time!!!...deservedly...

  • hes Genius

  • Brian Setzer was allready great with the cats, but he just goes on and on, great! 'rosenberg trio' has a nice version of this song too...

  • dont care that brian isnt as much popular as he should be

the fact is that we enjoy him:)

  • Éric lapointe ? :P lol

  • @TheMylesky lol:)) only the image maan mais son genre est différent:))

  • This friday, 25th june 2010, he's giving a big free outside show at the montreal jazz festival. I'll be there for sure. mickydoo

  • Montréals show was INSANE !!

How come Ive never heard of him before ?!

He sure play rockabilly like no others can. also he is good to make people dance!

    * a "must see" show for any serious guitarist !

  • wow, great playing

  • i think he would be better of with the stray cats

  • @dmngzrlnd I think the Stray cats held him back.

  • @undapar1 Stray Cats didn't hold him back, they gave him a stage to be seen and heard on. At the time of the Stray Cats, he wouldn't have gone over as a solo artist and it was too early for the big band deal. The Stray Cats opened the door for him to form the Orchestra and continue to do his thing. They were great, very cool and a breath of fresh air in the (ugh) disco era. He has kept swing and rockabilly alive for a new generation. God bless him for that!

  • сплэндид,экселент,эмейзин,я в восхищении

  • genius

  • wow, wie van de drie flashback!!

  • les paul is so much better..same with chet akins

  • @guitargeek616 There's only one Chet Atkins! You know you've arived when Gibson, names a guitar after you. ie. Les Paul

  • @undapar1 Chet also had Gibson guitars named after him. He played Gretsch like Brian for many years as well. Basic Country Gentleman model.

  • woooow i remember the first time i see this video with my friend ¨el trikis¨ we were smoking i dont know what but pay attention to this guy from the 4 string thing wooow

  • Love Setzer!!! Only Setzer can sound like Setzer, hehehehe.

  • i listened to original release by Duke Ellington's quartet. Wes' version, Joe Pass' version.. still i think mr. Setzer got it definitely the best..

  • @axiluss check out Scotty Anderson's

  • SO COOL!!!

  • A Class Act!!

  • That was quite possibly one of the best things I've ever seen/heard in my life...Im in awe of Setzer and his amazing orchestra.

  • Mr Setzer should never have combined Swing and Rockabilly. It doesn`t work !

  • ill have to disagree. he pulls it off nice. but thats just me

  • @clolom95 I totally Agree with you. Brian has taken Rockabilly and given it a whole new dimension...playing 12 bars repeatatively can get a little monotonous. His unique blending of styles is now Brians signature sound. Its what makes Brain Setzer, Brian Setzer. The man is a visionary and a pioneer. Rockabilly has no boundaries...Thanks to Brian.

  • @lespaulstudio90 hell yeah! He really is a visonary. What he put together with these styles is amazing and spectacular.

  • I love the way he incoperates jazz with spanish and all these other styles, jazz is the invention and combining spanish with jazz is Improvisational Experimentation, he is well acknowledgment In the Art Of good music

  • its les pauls song he was a musician to wad

  • That's not a Les Paul, It's a Gretsch.

  • @john37716

LOL i think he means it in the sense that the musician in which the Les Paul guitar was named after would be rolling in his grave because he is famous for playing this song....

  • Comment removed

  • Les Paul is dancing in his grave!

Brian has got some wonderful jazz, rockabilly chops-

  • Brian. Your amazing.

  • Reminding us that great music is not only awesome, but unstoppably FUN!

  • I think I heard Les Paul !!

  • Wow this guitarist is amazing, and as a trumpet player that Jazz orchestra is incredible behind him. Will be looking for more Brian Seztser.

  • @kdkn92 Jazz Orchestra? That's a Swing Band!

  • @WhatIsChazaq Whatever, same thing.

  • excellent!

  • Why isnt he more popular, He's amazing....

  • i dont think he is as popular as he was, but he still has got it and still im sure has millions of loyal fans worldwide!

    YOU ROCK BRIAN!!

  • @curtlong : in answer to your question: why he isn't as popular anymore. ____probably because the main stream musical tastes of the current generation youth is into different things now....rap etc. The stray cats era is gone. But.....all us slightly older people still love him. Its like when the "Big Band Era" ended....it was not that the music was bad (it was great)....just that a new generation was into something different.

  • @curtlong Because he plays music and his own instrament.

  • @curtlong not to many people dig the western jazz type thing hes got going on

  • @curtlong

    he is popular :D

  • @curtlong He's not main stream, lets keep it that way.

  • They are having way to much fun!

  • Now that's music! Setzer rules!

  • @goldenoakretriever As does Bernie Dresel, whoever is rockin' that bass, and the rest of the band.

  • @skitspuce I Agree 100%, didn't mean to leave the others out, there all great!

  • santana did it too.

  • whatever. dont be a snob.

  • Actually that's Duke Ellington. :)

  • That is right, Mr. Ellington it is...

  • Duke Ellington, Irving Mills and Juan Tizol

  • This man gives me all the insperation I need to play guitar! Thanks Brian, for bringing this kind of music to me =)

  • fucking hell............these men can play their tools

  • He's right up there with the greats. He deserves some kind of lifetime achievment award.

  • fuuuhhkk! man that was the greatest!

  • I likes but from an aesthetic standpoint, Chet Atkins and Les Paul's version is superior.

  • ugh, chet atkins is unlistenable, probably the most boring guitar player in the history of the instrument.

  • Good one, Elmo! You had me going there, for a minute I thought you were being serious!!

  • i am serious, chet atkins can play, but hes a bore.

  • Like everyone, you are certainly entitled to have your own opinion.

  • I'd have to go with Wes Montgomery

  • It's better for jazz, Gretsch is the guitar for r'n'r

  • ei dunno, either way, to me this driven gretsch soundz greatz

  • I told to ilikeyguitar!!!!!!!111

  • I absolutely adore my Gretsch hollowbody for jazz.

  • Both are great, but hear Danny Gatton's version and get BLOWN away.

  • Yes, and this Japanese Big-Band called "Nettai Tropical Jazz Big Band", they covered Caravan in the Late 90s, and this was released in the album called "September", which also includes their arrangement of Earth, Wind & Fire's "September".

  • He´s quite amazing. :)

  • that Bigsby vibrato on that guitar is just as smooth and sweet and creamy as butter.

  • Couldn't have said it bettter myself. Love that Gretsch!

  • ..that ain't the one outta musicians friend..or even off the line of his own...thats an orig...
