A good idea for dry lips is putting you gloss on then taking an old toothbrush and swiping it across almost like your brushing your lips instead of your teeth wipe the excess off your lips and then you can do the lipstick and/or lipgloss and your lips should be softer : ) hope this helps know it's late but better late than never

You can apply a white base (like NYX jumbo pencil in milk) to show the true color of the eyeshadow or whatever your using for your look! Hope this helps. :D
