I think how dedicated someone is to super heros is who they prefer. If you collect comics and you're really into it you prefer the more unrealistic super heros. If you watch for the action a couple times and put it down after that they remember the one that looked cooler and had more of what they liked. It's pesonality differnces.

What makes Batman so much better than all other superheroes is that he's a (relatively) normal guy. He doesn't have any magical powers. He's just a person. He would win in any fight because he doesn't have to rely solely on brute force and strength like some other superheroes. He can outsmart his enemies instead. It is far more dangerous to go up against a genuis like Batman than a brute like the Hulk.

It doesnt matter whos stronger, in the comics Batman has beaten ppl twice his size and strength with nothing but his Wit and his Will, Batman is also trained in literally over 100 different martial arts, is an olympic class athlete well into his 40s, and is the worlds greatest detective, when has spiderman ever had to defeat someone using more than strength and speed. Batman is a more complete hero, and would defeat spiderman in single combat even without his gadgets.

Its called lateral thinking and hes a master at it even in the heat of battle he can trap someone using his many gadgets in his arsenal, that is what his gadgets are for. As for spidey, i was huge fan of spiderman, but against batman he would lose. Spiderman just doesnt have the completeness that Batman does.

There is no kryptonite that diminishes Spider-man's super strength, so Batman would be SOL in a fist fight with him. There's absolutely no chance of Batman winning on pure martial arts skill alone. He did NOT beat superman that way.

Spidersense doesnt tell anything but the direct danger of something, like a batarang headed straight for him, what spidersense doesnt tell him is that the batarang could explode, or release sleeping gas, or some odd effect. Thats why batman would win, because hes more experienced and far smarter, ntm his training, strength and reflexes are enough to evade spiderman almost indefinitely.

I disagree. In any fight scenario, Spiderman would win. Even in a night scenario, Spidey has an advantage of Spider Senses that would allow him to know exactly where Batman is and to dodge his attacks. Spidey would not be weighed down by a utility belt full of gadgets. @NavySARsailor None of Spiderman's villians are cooler than batman in gadgets, and batman goes for stealthy gadgets not powerful. Batman also fought a villian who is literally exactly like spiderman in every way. Exactly the same powers, except this villian he fought also used guns so batman destroyed a spiderman with guns. While Spiderman has one mob-boss to deal with, batman has tons including the Joker, two-face, penguin, black mask and many more.
2) The only real devices spiderman has invented are web shooters, and a tracking beacon that looks like a spider. Batman has Jell that explodes, he has boomerangs that he can control the movement of, he has an explosive liquid and a detoner that can tell each pile of the jell apart even though they are Identicle, he has a device that can hack into ANYTHING using only sound waves, hell there isn't enough room in this responce to list all his gadgets I could literally go all day.

1) while spiderman flies through the city from web to web, he is completely exposed. Any random guy with a gun who sees him flying around in his little costume could easily shoot him down. Batman uses stealth to get around. He has methods of gliding around the city without anyone seeing him and actually uses camouflage. When he is not being stealthy, he has an armoured vehicle.

Still, I think that batman would win because although spiderman has powers and super streangth, he is not much more than that. Batman is an extremely intelligent person who has trained his body and mind to be in the peak of condition. Batman is trained in all martial arts, and uses much better gadgets. HE also went up against an opponent exactly the same as spidey and won.

What makes Batman so much better than all other superheroes is that he's a (relatively) normal guy. He doesn't have any magical powers. He's just a person. He would win in any fight because he doesn't have to rely solely on brute force and strength like some other superheroes. He can outsmart his enemies instead. It is far more dangerous to go up against a genuis like Batman than a brute like the Hulk.

There is no kryptonite that diminishes Spider-man's super strength, so Batman would be SOL in a fist fight with him. There's absolutely no chance of Batman winning on pure martial arts skill alone. He did NOT beat superman that way.

Spidersense doesnt tell anything but the direct danger of something, like a batarang headed straight for him, what spidersense doesnt tell him is that the batarang could explode, or release sleeping gas, or some odd effect. Thats why batman would win, because hes more experienced and far smarter, ntm his training, strength and reflexes are enough to evade spiderman almost indefinitely.

Batman has fought and beaten Superman, and his villians are badass such as Clayface, Deathstroke, Bane, Killer Croc, and Man-Bat, Joker, etc and your saying his villians are bitches you dont know shit. I disagree. In any fight scenario, Spiderman would win. Even in a night scenario, Spidey has an advantage of Spider Senses that would allow him to know exactly where Batman is and to dodge his attacks. Spidey would not be weighed down by a utility belt full of gadgets. Sure, Spiderman can't fly and Batman can, but if they were in hand-to-hand combat on the ground, Spidey could web Batty up; flying problem solved. Spiderman wins! Game over! Bye!

@NavySARsailor Batman has mastered most forms of martial arts and is at no amateur level whereas Spiderman simple has enhanced "Spider" strength. You say I "have no case" but I don't really need one as it's been made indisputable by this video and the comments that negate your case. Batman is simple cooler and more credible than a man wearing ass tight tights who shoots white stuff and people. Plus Spiderman would suck if he were put in a place without buildings- the desert for an example.

Now if you take away spider's web-shooters, he's exactly the same as Mantid but mantid has guns and training. Batman took down mantid and brought him to justice without any equipment only his bear hands.

He would be using spider-man's moves against him. 3rd of all, spider sence is just a felling you get when something is coming behind you, or when something is coming that you cannot see. It is not the ability to predict everything a person is going to do. And Bruce wayne is clearly smarter than peter parker no debate here.

2) The only real devices spiderman has invented are web shooters, and a tracking beacon that looks like a spider. Batman has Jell that explodes, he has boomerangs that he can control the movement of, he has an explosive liquid and a detoner that can tell each pile of the jell apart even though they are Identicle, he has a device that can hack into ANYTHING using only sound waves, hell there isn't enough room in this responce to list all his gadgets I could literally go all day.

1) while spiderman flies through the city from web to web, he is completely exposed. Any random guy with a gun who sees him flying around in his little costume could easily shoot him down. Batman uses stealth to get around. He has methods of gliding around the city without anyone seeing him and actually uses camouflage. When he is not being stealthy, he has an armoured vehicle.

Batman is much smarter than spiderman, and although he is not stronger, he is in better condition. Batman also has equiptment that would give him the edge. One of his earliest villians was a guy who was exactly the same as spider man and he still won.

He is not asking who is more badass and who is more believable, he is asking who would win. Still, I think that batman would win because although spiderman has powers and super streangth, he is not much more than that. Batman is an extremely intelligent person who has trained his body and mind to be in the peak of condition. Batman is trained in all martial arts, and uses much better gadgets. HE also went up against an opponent exactly the same as spidey and won.
