  • For the full track....

  • whats so hard 2 choose if it wasnt 4 Preemo/Rakim there wood b no Dre/Pac cmon its like ppl have poor chrono-logic

  • The R

  • Deffinetly pac

But rakim still good as hell2

  • Pac or Rakim? Tough to say.

  • Whos better, Premo or Dre

  • Again and again, Rakim shreds the track. Lyrically untouchable brother!

  • so gd ! All the same if I dont understand a word lol not grave da essential is this is Old School

  • AAAAAAAA SHITT!!!!! THIS IS WHY RAKIM IS THE GOD MC!!!

  • rakim only recorded a few joints with dre and im sure he said that they all leaked minus the one he done for detox a few years ago

  • Of course DJ Premier wields doper joints, his production is steeped in credible, enduring shit. As for brother Rakim, he did the right thing distancing himself from gangsterfying himself: he still holds the crown for lyricism and peerless flow, nobody can ride a beat like the GOD!

  • Hate to be the one to say it, but Revelations was heavily altered in the 1800s. But f*ck the religions shit, just enjoy the lyricism that is the god.....RAKIM.

  • Dj Premier better than Dr. Dre.

  • @naardic You crazy as fuck! lol Dj Premier makes beats, Dre makes music.

  • @b7r7u7c7e dr makes beats too, most the time he just plays music on synths to a drum loop and loop everything,he samples too sometimes,G-thang,next episode, bang bang,............... and he only loops the sample after pitching it up...

but dj premier rocks at chopping samples,he slices the living shit out of a sample till you can't tell what song he used.....

  • @KIFTROMANIAC What you said is just a sample of what Dre does. He truly creates beats out of nowhere. For example most of the beats he did on the firm album & the 2nd Em LP was not sampled but created 100% by Dre. His production & mixing is 2nd to none. I have a new sound system in my basement & I'm hearing things on the cronic & cronic 2000 I never heard befour. The extra instruments like a bell, chime, or french flute are so suttle you can barely hear them. Dj premier is a sample producer.

  • @b7r7u7c7e I know bro, actually I said both things Dre does, sampling, and playing music on synths then mixing it (what you're talking about), Im a producer myself and Im a huge fan of both,Primo and Dre,and I do both sample and play;except Im a huge sample head haha I love doing it more than playing music, sometimes I play my own stuff then resample it lol peace

  • @KIFTROMANIAC Hey I produce 2! lol I think most producer I meet when I ask them who is there favorite hip hop producer they say Dr Dre, Organized Noize, Timbaland, Kanya West, Rza, etc. There so many different types of producers. There the soul sound, The Boom Bap, Home grown sound, and mass appeal. This would be producers like the Neptunes, Timaland, and puffy. Personally I'll take a beat from Curtis mayfield, a bass guitar from Earth Wind Fire, and build from there with my own stuff.

  • @b7r7u7c7e Im into boom bap n shit myself, not really a fan of none of the producers you mentioned execpt for dre lol.I sample from a lot of shit, the only thing I never sample is rap songs,if I do I only sample rap lines for hooks ,intros or outros n cutts

  • @naardic they make different beats , not better or worse

  • @naardic woa u must be OR deaf as fuck OR fucked in the head which would technically also leave u deaf...

  • @gangstaplaya94 hahahaha watch?v=aT8fa2HLcfk got somthing to say bout dre? ask Justin Bieber. PREEMO rulez

  • @naardic , at that time dra just keeps grown even as he old as hell, but ya Premier is one of the top 5 ever, Church, lol

  • Death is the only thing everything in the universe has is common. I highly doubt humanity figured it out... espically thousands years ago.

  • the two most common unanswered question since the begging of times 1)how did we get here 2)what happens when we die scientist still cant figure it out to this day

  • 9 ppl that dont like this song can die lol

  • real heavy

  • this was a hit, RIGHT ?!?!?!?!?!?!?

  • People also fear death and can't accept the fact they are going to die

  • people fear the truth and for some the truth hurts, they will stop at nothing to stop the truth from being revealed. people fear what they cant understand, and cant stand when they are powerless to stop the truth.

  • 'God is love' - Rev Run

  • to quickstar20o7 - song is awesome and I like it very much. And I understand what you want to achieve by asking not to start discussions about religions etc. But don't call it "crap" , there's no reason to insult

  • its the shit !!!!

  • What a combination !

  • Dre's producing + Rakim's rap = The best possible form of Hip Hop. Ever.

  • WAR brought me here.!

  • this song is HEAVY

  • Don't believe in g-d, but you are right. This is a song. AND A GOOD ONE ;)

  • @herbaljunky TRUE! I LOVE THIS SHIT

  • lol I sent the person who uploaded this song years ago man, Rakim is the G.O.A.T.

  • M P A R E!

  • Ridiculously amazing kills it maliciously

  • God crap?? Man get yo, life right there is no such thing. Pray you believe

  • Peace

  • Love this song...

Drives me nuts that "Oh My God" will never see the light of day.

The world has been deprived of an epic project.

  • all yall saying this sucks this is reallity

    peace to the don rakim

  • Rakim is off-the-dome Dope. He's the empirical, lyrical Master. God said: Let there be Hip-Hop and then there was Ra." Rakim spoke about Dre and himself, their differences, and while Rakim is applaudably private, he hinted that his direction could not co-exist with Ganster-inspired-fast-food type Dre production. Staying REAL shows R's fortitude and sincerity...I'm glad it never happened in this case: Rakim owns the mic, whatever he touches is Gold, he has his own chemistry, can't fuck with that

  • this is sweet, but this may anger some people but is rakim main stream cause i never heard of him. if he underground than >_< hell yes

  • @TenchiSaWaDa lol its the inverse, if u didnt heard of him is because he is underground.

  • @bruno21390 how the hell is he under ground this is origianl hihop artist he has been banggin since the early 80`s, he is one of the origanators of rap! This joint is tightttttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TenchiSaWaDa rakim used to be mainstream but then he died

  • @Obsenity123 hes not dead he just stoped rapping after the seventh seal

  • @TenchiSaWaDa Rakim began with Eric B. & Rakim back in '87. The peak of his career was in the early '90s and he kinda fell out of the public eye, though he still made music and stayed alive in the hearts and minds of lovers of Hip-Hop. He is lauded as one of (if not THE) greatest rappers of all time. His last release was "The Seventh Seal" in 2008.

  • never sleep on the R.

  • this is a true masterpiece!! REAL LYRICS, REAL HIPHOP!!

  • sick dope lyrics. 5stars

  • Sounds as if the enemy of Allah has infiltrated and posted the teletype titled sentence in BLUE that appears and disappears.

  • This is illuminati shit lol this is why rakim left afftermath

  • this song sucks ass

  • @Turkeylegs39 woah woah woah woah .... woah

  • omg ths beat is fuckin WACK no wonder he got dropped from Aftermath

  • @peterscoop lol u must be deaf

  • @fanaticbeatz lol you msut be a faggot listening to everything you THINK should be cool but you dont listen to music moron

  • @peterscoop how can u say this beat is wack u must be a real fag :D

  • @fanaticbeatz it sounds fuckin gay!! the percussion , the female singing, the piano, you just like it cause you liek rakim you faggot, this is WEAK

  • @peterscoop a beat by Dre is wack? slap yourself

  • @fanaticbeatz

    It's possible.

  • @mjoseph1 HELL NO!!!

  • @fanaticbeatz

i think nas is coming is his best beat actually. and this pale's in comparison.

  • Comment removed

  • @fanaticbeatz the good kind of wack?

  • @fanaticbeatz LOL ur comment made me my day thanks! (Y)

  • @creg118 good for u :D

  • @peterscoop sad

  • bible and god

  • the greatest ever nuff said

  • tha boi who made this video is candyass nigga and shuldn't even kno who rakim is

  • God aint crap..that stupid blue thing on top of screen is like asking not to talk about Jesus for "Jesus walks"..obviously Rakim points the spotlight on his concerns about the afterlife..VIVO CHRISTO REY! the Wise try to return to Jesus some of the love he spent his whole life giving for us! Jesus loves us..Aeqitas Veritas!

  • @JamesofJesus I think the reason he asked us not to talk about Religion is so that no one gets the urge to point out the inherent hypocrisy in your comment.

  • EPIC

  • 0.30

here's the answer, Jesus came back to tell...

  • @intactGB i also came back and told, but no1 listened to me

clearly i'm not so good at starting a religion *sarcasm*

  • @alexel26 fellow atheist unite?

  • @alexel26 you came too late lol

  • Rakim rapping on a Dre beat was the best thing that could have happened to hip hop, too bad Dre and Rakim had "creative differences".

  • word up

  • @hockeynahal it would have been AMAZING if Rakim released a full dre produced album, it's probably would have ended up being one of the greatest albums of the 2000s, Rakim would have been giving Em and Jay-Z run for their money during the 2000s if Ra went mainstream.

  • @hockeynahal no there r better producers than dre wat about premier rza j dilla

  • @hockeynahal If you have told one lie, that makes you a liar. If you have stolen one thing, that makes you a thief. JESUS said; if you look at a person with lust, you commit adultery in your heart! Ever used GOD's name in vain; then you are a blasphemer and can't enter heaven! Rev. 21v8 says; "All liars will have their part in the lake of fire!" The bible says; No thief or adulterer will inherit GOD's kingdom! You broke GOD's laws; but JESUS paid your fine! Repent, trust the Savior!

  • @EXALTEDDIRT wtf are you talking about i never mentioned god in my comment

  • @EXALTEDDIRT too bad if there was a god or a jesus the world wouldn't be as it is

  • @Steve1190 *Contradiction* If there wasn't sin and evil in the world then we wouldn't need a Savior!

  • ssssswag

  • TUPAC+RAKIM+SNOOPDOGG+ICECUBE+DR.DRE=999999999% Real HipHop.

    Real Rappers!!!!.

    IDOLs..

  • rakim is a mc not a rapper....

  • @savagelifestyle

hes a rapper and an mc , a mc just mean sum1 lyrical

  • @TheMrRold

Naw, Rakim is in a whole other category. Seems Rakim realizes the responsibility and actions of his words. Dr. Dre, Tupac, Snoop Dogg never realised this or forgot too often.

Thats why Rakim doesn't like to cuss, talk about killing people(I cant recall any of his lines talking about killing people), Rakim doesn't like to glorify drug sales(He slipped a little on this in the Seventh seal). Rakim understands if he cusses a lot and glorifys killing, drug sales others may act on lyr

  • @ckbudde rakim even stopped working with dre cause he statesd dre wanted him to rap about killing people and all that , but rakim wanted "rap about bringing people to life". hes on a whole nother level

  • @ckbudde Aight, your perspective of Tupac is wrong because he really never wanted to kill anybody. Pac's case was because he was being ostracized by the media and the negative hip-hop community of that time as an advocate of gangster and violent music, which he only became ensued into when he signed on to Death Row records and produced such tracks in order to appease Suge and keep himself alive because everybody was out to rob him of everything. By not cussing doesn't mean one has good intent.

  • The other version of this has been vocalled

Check the tune Afterlife - Consensus.

  • 3 people suck a diiick!

  • BEST !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Life Is A Bitch And Death A is MotherFucker

  • fuck that imma kick death in the ass, one of the best lines ive ever herd!

  • why didnt they do an album together!!

  • all up on my bak n try to keep still/ but they work anyway lik a poison pill/ so i pop out tossin out pure skill/ nobody wuld think this is for real so sick its ill/ thats right ya wen i start to toss words/ lookin at me lik im tha one obserd/ well ima tell u wat just occured/ ur brains disturbed/ an now its yo turn/ to get up on tha mic/ n tell me wat u lik/ ya its yo right to ryme tight in tha lime light

  • {0:14}people walkin round on tha street/wish i culd tell em tha feelin i get wen i feel tha beat/ feels lik i jus cant keep still in my seat/ but then them vibrations jus start to creep/

  • Rakim and Dre, damn!

  • What album is this song from??

  • what happened to Derek D and Rashid? They r the real shizzle, thats who rakim was really influenced by. Rashid would piss all over rakim in an 8 mile style rap battle with derek d on the weels of steel and rashid spittin down the mike, rakim would definately choke after hearin that.

  • @Melkisedech how could even try to ish on the R's name..to mention unknowns.. your vibration is like a devil... evil.. Rakim the lyrical greatest ever to do it

  • @noirnoticvibe ha ha i was going to write wheres your sense of humour? but then realised that you too were joking just like i was. Twas only a bit of fun you see

  • hands down,,he is the line by which all rappers are judged..RAKIM IS THE GAME CHANGER.THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER, AS MUCH AS HE IS RESPECED AND ADMIRED , HE WILL NEVER BE TRULY APPRECIATED UNTIL HE LEAVES THIS REALM. PHILOSOPHERS USE HIS RAP LYRICS TO TEACH CLASSES !!!! THE GREATEST EVER !!!!!!!

  • damn it's a fucking shame ra wasn't able to get the album out with dre, it would have been unbelievable.

  • @Deathkill06 R.A??

  • eminem talks about suckin his dads dick in his bed and in his shed and sneakin up from behind and but fuckin the game up hes clearly the faggot just jealous of a real rapper

  • @ghostownlegend em is a good rapper stop bringing him up over bs like this he had nuthin to do with it

  • Comment removed

  • rakim is the real original GOD.

  • that's great

  • crazy chorus

  • DUDE GOT BOOTED FROM AFTERMATH CUZ HE SUCKS BLACK DICK LMFAO

  • @CLOVERCITYY15 thats rubbiush, its because he's cool, and dr sucks, i wanna write about killing people bollocks, rakim wants too talk about how too bring someone too life, rakim is real and pure and true,

  • @CLOVERCITYY15 wwas he really gay?

  • @CLOVERCITYY15 Dre's actually the gay one, your mind's playing tricks on you. Rakim is the GOAT. This has officially been acknowledged by 100 of the best Rap Artist of the last two decades. So sorry mate maybe after you die, the truth sha'll set you free. PEACE

  • @CLOVERCITYY15 He got booted because of creative differences. Being true to his craft, Rakim didn't want to rap about murder, bitches and money. It has nothing to do with him "sucking black dick"

  • cant really choose a good 5doa there are too many real emcees but the top3 is certain 1rakim2bigl3nas

  • rakim is the man.

  • it's just his non-chalantness, to every track he records... u feel it.. RA foreva .. 1

  • i enjoy getting a little to high enjoy everyday life just a little better calms me down n i can have fun

  • it's going to be the real question, can a Dre beat be relevent in 2011? this one sounds like a Eminem through away. I think Em through away alot of Dre beats on recovery. Detox

  • Comment removed

  • One of the rap Gods, the best to pick up a mic . Nutin else to say. What?????

  • this kinda rap i miss...what happened....

  • @123321mp I wasn't born in this time of rap and it really makes me mad because i dont like how rap today is just about sex (in most cases) or with some autotune and fancy stuff that shouldn't be there I prefer old stuff straight up talent

  • this beat is mad cheesy, the busta rhymes version of (legend of the falloffs) is wayy betta. its way too bouncy for such a serious topic. rakim needs alot of production help. he is one of the best rappers ever. why doesnt he have some of the best production ever? just like nas. he should have WAYY betta beatz. its like these niggas like wack beatz

  • omg rakim MURDER every single track

  • God is loving this song.. he a rapping and dancing .. heh

  • basicly i don't like RAKIM, i think that his songs are stupid and pointless, but this song... this is better than any poet, this is art, this is beatifull rhymes.

  • @christ1109 listen to the mystery, holy are you, and you might get more of what hes sayin in most of his songs like , the last resort, uplift just so many lassics

  • After you die you gotta wait for a healer to resurrect you.

  • its both truth hurts first sample second

  • I dont really like this beat for Rakim, take out the sample and it sounds more like something Em would spit on. Since Busta used the same sample in Legend of the Falloffs, I wonder if he was refering to Rakim.

  • you can hear rakim write dre's rap on this ! 1luv

  • truth hurts is not singing this, its a sample

  • yes!!i found the track on lime wire!!

  • real musik think about it

  • does anyone know what the original sample is?

  • @janekproductionz its both the sample and truth hurts just listen

  • theres a reason rakim is called the god mc, damnnn this is an ill track
