I miss the stories of dragonball. Mind you, DBZ was awesome, the stroylines were amazingly conceived. However, in order to achieve its greatness it had to give up many things, like the never-ending comedy of dragonball, the innocence of Goku, and the fact that goku is actually present in every episode and not dead/away/in hospital/in some healing machine/in a time chamber etc etc

Oh and the hilarious fact that Goku couldn't tell genders apart unless he felt for their pee pee :D

Dragon ball is better than Dragon ball Z because Dragon ball has a much more carefree feel to it. That's a lot more enjoyable than always watching the main character about to die and then somehow manage to win.

It wasn't always like that in Z, like I mean w/ Cell, he never hurt Gohan as badly as the other villains hurt Goku. It also still had an adventurous feel early on when they had to find the ship, get to Namek & stuff. It was just after that they never really went to other worlds again.
