  • BIG WOODEN SPOONS BRO BRARAHARBARHA!! XD

  • use a bic lighter

  • tastes much better out of those big ass silver cans as opposed to bottles

  • 5:53 he's impressed hehe

  • half italian huh? thats why ur so cool

  • This beer was so smooth I wasn't sure if it was just a nice smooth flavour, or actually a lack of flavour. All things considered it is a fairly nice beer (especially considering its price here)

  • IBEGODDAMNEDLOOKATDAT!

    haha great review!

  • wow, you're really fun.

good review, by the way, i'll have to try that sapporo sometime

  • i was disappointed with this beer

  • @James5222 I was as well to a certain point. I feel it's way better and lesss skunky than a lot of other Asian beers that I've tried, but I've much better beers than this one. I will give it credit though, it is smooth. My biggest complained it that it reminded me of a slightly more flavorful version of MGD.

  • @ThePGeraFuckingSucks sorry. for the spelling mistakes...too much weed :)

  • Sapporo is one really smooth beer lol it's good for beginners

  • I love your smooth voice, I'm sure you have a way with the ladies (if you are not married)

  • good review. you can open a bottle with almost anything even with a lighter

  • HAHAHA at 3:23. Lolz

  • And the opening trick u can do it with anything as long as u get the leveraged on the cap, iv done it from any thing like a lighter to a seat bealt buckle

  • I love sapporo I can get it here in the Maryland Arab store but its like 3.75 for a tallboy

  • This music...

  • i pop brews open all the time with a lighter

  • I just found this relaxing with a sapporo haha it's one of my favorites. Don't know what I'm doing up at 3 a.m. though..awesome videos man. You're actually the first one I subscribed to! Keep it up dude.

  • i'm trying this with my high life bottles lol good review man!

  • I do it all the time with my lighter. cheap bick lighter.

  • 1:32 scared the CRAP out of me for some reason.

  • Where I live Sapporo it's pretty expensive. Glad I could find a review. You sir, you got yourself a new suscriber.

  • I wonder if it may dry up soon? I don't think many food items will be coming from Japan.

  • - I like Sapporo I find it has a similar flavor to a European style lager,It reminded my of Heineken or Stella,Great review,Cheers!

  • Dude I have been watching your vids for a long time. I really like your demeanor! Cool vids man!

  • hey man!

    its Guelph, Ontario

    "G-well-ph"

  • you should do a review of colt 45

  • Hey Joe D...Can you do a review of Honey Brown?...Thanks man.

  • @mhrvy1976 He Did a Dundee Honey Brown.

  • you can open a beer bottle with a piece of paper! I thought I'd try it once and it worked. Just fold the paper up into a tight square and do the same leverage thing you just did with the spoon! get some practice and then bet your friends! cheers!

  • I had this when I went back home to Michigan and the Canadian brew does not taste the same as the domestic. Asahi super dry and Kirin lager taste much better IMO. Sapporo is the worst Japanese beer i think. My rating goes Asahi, Kirin, Suntory, Sapporo. Get some other Japanese beers and have a taste, they make the best Lagers in my opinion. BTW are you half black half Italian? You kinda look like my uncle haha.

  • I found it at walmart about one year ago....it was like 16usd.

    I got 2 Guinness instead...haha

Now I can't find it around here.

    nice video!

  • @raonipaes Most decent bars that have international beer menus will have it.

  • I can open beer with a lighter. Surprised you never knew that, love your reviews man.

  • Hey man...do a review on a lonestar...its a texas brewed beer

  • lol in highschool i used to take the caps off with my cellphone, when cellphones were like bricks,,,,

    nice video

  • This guys videos has actually inspired me to make my own beer reviews. I drink way to much beer to not be making use of it.

Try Sleemans Silver Creek. Best of the Sleeman's by far. Otherwise, I'm not a bit Sleeman fan in the slightest. Particularly the Honey Brown

  • Yeah this is a pretty good beer I just bought it today for the first time "felt like trying something random" and it was better than I expected, I prefer it over most beers in it's category probably because it's bitter, for some reason I love bitter beer otherwise it's mediocre.

  • i can open one with a fifty cent piece, a pen, a lighter, a powerade/mtndew bottle... pretty much anything you can hold in your hand that's fairly sturdy.... or another beer bottle

  • By far the best Japanese beer.

  • The best asian beer I have ever tried and my favorite of all time is Beerlao, its bitter and hoppy at first but has a complex honey aftertaste.

I really like the unique flavor and its strong enough for 2 bottles to guarantee you wont drive. XD

  • Dat after taste

  • shit I'd buy again too! LMAO

  • You should try some Finnish beers, nice reviews btw.

  • man your like the most lift up beer reviewer on youtube...nice

  • review asahi i used to drink it when i was stationed in japan, its pretty good, or at least i think it is lol.

  • review asahi i used to drink it when i was stationed in japan , i really liked it.

  • ''i'll be god damned!'' hilarious, awesome bro ur reviews r all i watch to get me in the beer mood

  • The look on your face was priceless when that cap flew off. Trick is cool ill have to give it a try. Great review.

  • I went back and watched this video again after trying this one tonight. It's a good fun video review and I definitely must say the review is right on. Certainly not up there with the best of the best in brews, but a very nice beer in the same ballpark as your Coors, etc. I rather liked it and would have it again.

  • You need to review Flying Dog beers. I got a 6 pack of Old Scratch Amber Lager and was going to trying it with you but found that you hadn't reviewed any of them. You are my beer review guy so I was disapointed. I'm sure you would love to try it now though.

  • Porno music.

  • Whenever my friends and i would lose our beer openers and would have to find all sorts of things to use to open them up. The best I've found is the part of the doorway where the door mechanism goes in (just gotta be careful because you can make your beer poor out). They are almost everywhere you go, so if you find yourself without a beer opener there you go. As far as this beer goes, it's not too bad. As you said it's about the same as a budweiser or so, but I actually prefer its aftertaste more

  • If you get a chance you should try Old Rasputin (I think it's by Northern Coast Brewery). It's one of my favorites. I'm gonna be trying the Bell's Expedition stout Aug 21st for the first time I'm looking forward to it :D. Nice reviews BTW :D

  • @FistOfDarwin JD quit playin man - we KNOW You're high!

  • JD quit playin man - we KNOW You're high!

  • its brewed in guelph, ontario at the old sleeman brewery.

  • dude you can crack open beer bottles with the bottom end of a good bic lighter... cap comes off perfectly

  • Comment removed

  • @FistOfDarwin Thanks for watching!

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. 3:02-3:06 was hilarious. Especially with the "turn off the lights" in the background. Two thumbs up, Joe D.

  • @JakeVhabae Thanks for watching.

  • your beer reviews are the best man. I love how you're always cracking up in most of them! It makes me crack up haha. Keep em coming they're all great. You should review a Hamm's, no one has done one yet that I've seen!!

  • @bbrandoo Thanks for watching.

  • Love the videos man. I watched them all.

  • @nine9lives9 Thank you for taking the time to watch them!!

  • I love your personality.

  • @welhungjohnson Thanks for watching.

  • do they make that out of rice.

  • @kwaidonjin Thank you

  • Sapporo in the tall silver can is great!!!

  • @triggb71 Thanks for watching.

  • excellent bottle opening!!

  • @gerardwatson Thanks for watching.

  • I never had ths beer b4 but I seen sngle cans for sale. The can's actully look different from the typical beer can look. Not sure the size or how it is. It's like a japan beer but n North American I guess we get it brewed in possable Canada with the Japan recipe or something. cheers

  • @TheMarijuanaTube420 If you have had a chance to try it you should let me know what you thought of it. Thanks for watching.

  • yeah from what i remember, it had little to no aftertaste. nice review.

  • @bsilver887 Was a really good beer I was really surprised.

  • 3:33 LOL Bitchin'

  • @snyper7744 Thanks for watching.

  • When I watch your beer reviews I really want a beer! GREAT REVIEW!!!!

  • @BigBudBoss Thanks for watching.

  • Fukin drunky!!! lol j/k. Sapporo is #1 i always drink it being Japanese/Mexican Tecate & Sapporo rule!

  • @DJCLo562 Thanks for watching.

  • at 1:32 I thought you were getting shot at...

  • try one of the yuengling beers

  • @biggdd2 I can't get that beer in my area. Thanks for watching.

  • When I first tasted this beer. The first thing that poped into my mind was "spicy". Would you agree?

  • @MrDeparture I could go along with that. It was a very good beer. I was quite surprised. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • man youre a cool dude! seems like a great beer drinking buddy

  • @dwbryant3 Thanks Bro I really appreciate it.

  • You should review the Sapporo from Japan. The import brand is noticeably worse than what you buy in Japan.

  • @clanpsi Thanks for watching.

  • i pop off the caps with a lighter lol, try it

  • @theshit1209 I have done that as well. I have been using a really good opener for quite some time now. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • I like sapporo wayy better than asahi. but asahi is a good beer as well.

  • @espguitarsown I keep meaning to try Asahi I see it all the time. Thanks for watching.

  • Right on with the taste. Has a bite. I would recommend Singha if you wanted to venture out. Its a really flavorful, light Thai beer almost taste like a light hefinweizen.

  • Cool I will have to try it. Thanks for watching.

  • Sapparo been sold in nyc for a while it does have an interesting taste. good review.

  • If you fancy Japanese beers, the next try should be Kirin or Asahi. These two are more dominant in the Japanese market. of course, worth trying.

  • I have seen both the beers you have suggested in my area. Thanks for watching

  • It is not my taste, that beer had to much rice in there, so the barley is barely perceptible, it is the Corona of japan.

  • Thank you for leaving you opinion here. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • Nice vid im subbing

  • Thank you

  • Try opening it with the bottom of a Bic lighter, its convenient.

  • I have done that before as well. It's a cool trick.

  • putting another two cents in. In case anyone is looking for a beer that goes great with Sushi/sashimi this beer goes great with both

  • Thanks for the tip.

  • I Love Sapporo beer and I don't throw that word around much. Sapporo is not only my favorite beer from Japan, but one of my favorite beers that I've come across period. I have had girls try this beer, that are the Smirnoff Ice drinking types. And now they order Sapporo at the bars when I go out with them. I wish more people would start drinking Sapporo instead of Budweiser etc.

  • It is good to hear you have won some people over to this beer instead of those mixed drinks. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this beer.

  • what's good joe d. Sapporo is a great beer! I would suggest trying it with Sushi. great review. What is your fav beer?

  • You know sushi and shelled fish are two foods I am not real crazy about. I can eat them if I am at a friends house or something to be polite, but I don't buy it to eat for myself. Thanks for watching.

  • Thats some interesting background music lol.

  • I chose some very different stuff for this one. Thank you for watching.

  • Ahh...it's been a while since I've had this beer but I did drink it as often as I could. Haha man bro I wish we could hang out and drink 'cos you've got to be the funnest person to probably ever drink with. Anyways this beer isn't the greatest but I'd take it over the typical budweiser or others haha.

  • I know it would be fun to have a beer with my viewers. I do my show with other youtube beer reviewers every tuesday on stickam and we drink and it can be fun. Thanks for watching!!

  • i bet that beer is so much cheaper than here in canada. kokanee is even cheaper than in canada and kokanee is canadian. same with molson canadian. i hate the taxes they put on alcohol in canada!

  • Taxes do suck. but we all have them unfortunately.

  • THE GREATEST BEER EVER!!!!! It's my favorite! I really like it for the taste and the lack of aftertaste. Also... I've seen friends do the wooden spoon thing with a lighter. hahahaha I reacted the same way you did when I first saw it done. Crazy. Thanks for doing some serious beer reviews.

  • I am glad you like it. That wooden spoon trick is cool, but anymore I just use it in an emergency. Haha.

  • joe d is the siznit, yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo

  • Thank you very much.

  • I'm getting one of those international beer packs. I think Sapporo is one of them.. wooooooooooo

  • I hope you liked it. Would love to hear what you thought of it. Thanks for watching.

  • haha the bottle cap can come off with just about anything. I used my phone charger one time : D

  • Your right you can use just about anything.

  • Sapporo comes here in cans only. They're a crazy shape, like a draft glass. I agree with your assessment. Its good and drinkable, but not a star.

  • Thanks for the comment. I like getting that type of feedback. Thanks for watching.

  • do tsingtao

  • Man, you always crack my ass up with your reviews! Thanks for all the information. I gotta make a run to Specs or something to see if I can get my hands on that banana bread beer. I might just have to make a trip to the fridge so I can try out that wooden spoon trick! haha

  • Thank you so much. And good luck with the wooden spoon trick.

  • That was a fun review man! I really can't pop a bottle cap off with a spoon.

Japanese beers are nice! I personally think Sapporo is the weakest of the japanese beers. Suntory makes some nice ones and Yebisu is great!

  • Thank you for those suggestions. I am always looking for a good Asain beer. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • I will for sure. You have some nice beer review vids :)

  • Hi,

I hear ya, my mom used to hit me with a wooden spoon too!

    Damn, that hurt *Hahaha!*

The Sapporo Brewerie imports hops from Germany (from Hallertau) every year they send their brew masters to check and order.

I had a Sapporo Lager a few years ago and i think it is similar to the regular US Budweiser.

In my opinion it is not bitter but it lacks of body and flavor, not so much my type of beer.

    Enjoy your beers!

    Joe from Germany

  • Great comment. Love that kind of info. Thanks for watching brother as always.

  • I absolutely love your videos man, I really would love to hang out with you in real life, You seem like an awesome guy, and your videos are always very fun. I never knew beer reviews could be this great. I can watch your videos all the time. Keep it up my friend! Much love.

  • Thank you so much for the compliment. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • Can you post a link to where the guy does the mountain dew bottle?

  • I tried to remember who made that video but I just can't remember anymore.

  • Sapporo is ok. But Kirin is where its at.

  • I all have to try and find that one.

  • I like how you keep these videos fun... But yeah, there's a real nice Canadian beer you should chech out if you ever get the chance. It's called Pump House and It has a picture of a fire hydrant on it. They won an award about a year or two ago.

  • Thank you for checking out the videos. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • Love your reviews, man. Have you tried any Stone brews? The Arrogant Bastard and Levitation Ale are real nice. You should do a review.

  • Yes I sure have made a review of that beer. Just go through the archives and check them out. Thanks for watching.

  • It's fun looking at this GUY do BEER reviews, plus the he gives great tips, keep it up love your reviews,THANK YOU.

  • Thank you so much for the kind words and for watching.

  • Good review...Popping the cap was cool and I think I got a flashback of some wooden spoon whackings of my own.

  • Once you have gone through that you can never look at a wooden spoon the same. Haha. Keep watching and tell a friend.

  • I had this when I was on holiday in Bali in April. I'd just arrived and didn't understand the currency properly and ordered one of these. Later I found out that a small bottle cost £6 - what's that? 9 dollars? It came as a bit of a surprise!

Great reviews though, keep them coming. I'm glad to see you seem to like the British beers too! See if you can get hold of Brains beer, and tell us what you think of a Welsh beer!

  • Wow that sucks paying $9 dollars for this beer. It's godbut not that good. Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • ive never seen it in a bottle tho im canadian tho and its nice in the can u should re do it with the can n lemme know what you think.

  • I only post one video per brew but we can use the comments here to discuss who likes it better in the can or bottle. Thanks for watching.

  • Love your reviews man.

    Keep plugging and chugging!

  • Thanks for watching and tell a friend.

  • Oh man this gotta be one of your best videos!

  • Thank you so much! I am so glad you liked it. Keep tuning in.
